sapping life and hope,
immobilizing its prey....

Noise  
So much noise  
Inside my head
Paralyzing

Attacking relentlessly
Emotions  
So many emotions  
I know it can’t all be me  
But the sun sets 
And ends the riots 
People sleep 
The world quiets 
Peace 
Soothing peace 
Especially at 1 am  
Five hours later comes 6
