Silvery white, thick fog icing
All trees, road, can't see far
Great veil disguise for deer to roam
Reveals where spider webs are

The frigid crystalline facets glimmer.
A carpet jeweled with ice,
laced with brittle brambles.
Wreathed, heavenly laden, pine boughs
groan under the weight of
winter white.

Enticing Icing and Pricing

Enticing Icing and Pricing

We were inspired by the great icing,
That had been attractive and enticing;
We wanted to buy;
Take home and try,
Until we saw what it cost and pricing.

One last thing, middle thing, or first thing before I go No matter which direction, love always follows There's no competition It's not just tradition It's what it's all about, it's icing on the gateau

One last thing, middle thing, or first thing before I go Not matter which direction, love's still the top show There's no competition It's not just tradition It's what it's all about, it's the icing on the gateau

Icing

my love;
last night
while you drifted
curled within my arms
my thoughts grew
full-bloom, beneath the moon.

on white sand
we melted together
into passion's splash
like dripping candles
atop birthday cake

and i wished
you awake!

Too Much Icing On the Cake

I always shun the cake,
With too much icing,
Unless I have witnessed the bake.

I always distance myself from a cake,
That has too much frosting,
And I find it hard see the actual cake.

So, it is with me and bureaucracy,
When I see too many layers,
And little transparency.
