Maxim #10:
HUMILITY
Live here and now true
Humble as the dew

Humility and discernment lead
Knowledge and wisdom follow
Use them as an example to succeed
And you will be them tomorrow
True Love Is
love is
humility
fidelity and trust
sacrificing all for others
mercy
Pretension, self-love
Dark siblings of vanity
Humility lost!

My eyes look at your feet
That mind may not interfere
As loving hearts meet & greet
So spake an unknown seer

Humble yourself now
Or be humiliated
Later in this life
With other people
In your career, with money,
sex and possessions.
On the greatness of humility some expound,
but still fail to leave their egos at the impound.

humility is not ability, it is a buried treasure
not a talent, but a manifestation of love, flowing through man
In a soul that humility does not reside
No genuine virtues could ever bide!

Personality and humility
are both crucial in life,
but excessive humility
and a lack of humility-
are always beyond my capabilities.
such
simplicity,
coherent
yet
a certain frailty-
piety
austerity
humility
all intermingled :
no absolutes
egalitarian..
for sure
I am the rose that blooms
in fields of thickest weeds, "Oh, God!
This is not fair."
A gentle humility of blossoms
radiates to an open sky.
Forget-me-not sprigs
for the nipper of figs
and dandelion soup set a boil
The sycamore tree
leans ever toward me
crowned in humility: loyal.
For we are all in collusion with humility but few of us are those who can embrace it. Humble are we that stand down our need for power and greed.
Put the sandal of humility
Admit humanity at least now !
Don't judge others so severely
Everyone deserves another try
mercy and forgiveness !
Humility is not Inferiority
concluding, 'Woe is me!'
Open your heart's eye wide to see
What can I do ~ Where is my opportunity
a child enlightens, lifts the weight off shoulders
Matthew 18:2-4
(Childlike qualities of humility, receptiveness, and trust.)
2 KIngs 5:2,3
trade the greed
for the humility you need
step no toes
drive slow
be the bear when when no one else cares
salvation is your reward
thank you Jesus
Pride is humiliated
At the end of a trip
By the sudden stop
Of a fall.
Humility is exalted
At the foot of a throne
To the seat of a king
From a crawl.
Epistemic Humility,
the world adjusts its crown
Reality filtered through the lens
of who looks, when, and how

Search for persons with passion to rule,
those with humility and compassion.
They are plenty in the forests of imaginations;
always talking and acting off-air
pride will not let go
'til our selfishness we know,
on pendulums we swing
as emotions sing,
reason has no place
'til faith we will unlace
and humility let flow
I will lift up my eyes
to the highlands;
the moon and the stars
far beyond;
bathe in wonders
before me-
delight in
holy humility.
Happy birthday, Brother Jojo,
The flock obeys the Almighty;
The sheepfold submits to God's law,
Showing total humility.
