Such an alluring Haiku John. Enchanting and enticing imagery. Your last line is awesome in the way it conveys the mysterious, ominous power of the beautiful full moon. Warmest wishes ~Susan

Morning John. This is grand. There was a time I worked the night shift. Thus I believe in the full moon completely. We were always on guard as they say. Your words are true. Well done entirely. Have a wonderful day.

JOhn, may I suggest with you eloquence for haku, that you study up on contemporary ones? Using fewer syllables and not using capitalization. You could win some modern Ku contests that way!

Thanks for your feedback. That's really interesting - I've only ever written "true" Haiku (5/7/5) and have been obsessed with hitting the magic number of syllables. I'll have to give the contemporary style a go.
