Pruning
If I pruned now
 in the hotbed coals of summer heat
the sap would run, lapping at the trunk
 trickling down the bark and diminish the bloom,
those hopeful dreams of next year growth
 would easily fade away to leaves
and the flowering would disappear
 so far now, after every rain
I hold myself back resisting
 the growth spurts 
of every bush and branch
 waiting for the fall....

Premium Member A Hot Soup
Corona has made a hot soup
caught us unawares, in a coup
a hothead.

We love to touch, hug eachother
enjoy our drink, chat together
with hotdog.

This weakness Corona exploited 
mutating, making us doited
a hotrod.

Wanting to do damage contain
caregivers hurried, to maintain
a hotline.

Humans' old habbits die very hard
older and sick, it did bombard
as hotbed

My Memories of 2015
They say blood is thicker
than water,
but I've found great souls
who can
go an extra mile for you;
people who even may
not be close to your
genetic pool!

As a Kenyan citizen,
I'm proud my country
has been
spared from the slogan
"a hotbed of terror",
after Obama's
and Pope's visit.

As a human,
I'm glad that I've fallen
and risen,
hurt and healed,
scorned and forgave.....
I'm slowly evolving
to a better human being.......
