Nothing Ever Could Be Better
Nothing could be exceptional or finer
Than to be in beautiful Caroliner
Reading either a two or four liner
By humorous Horn in a diner.

A horn in jazz is a lot like a heart.
At times it blares it's loudest in love. 19
At times a pin drops in silence.
The neighbors won't complain. 14
I never thought God to be a fan of blues.
My ears like an open door. 17
orange comes and gets me
excitedly showing me yellow
I smile at his enthusiasm.
Yellow winks, delighting pink
who give me a bit of love
Plaid walks by and tries to horn in
But we are all about the sixties
So we chase plaid off
preferring floral.
Join us.
Tick Toc
The clock turning
Round , round without ceasing
Blow your horn in celebration
For time passes and the shadows lengthen
So dance and sing in the moonlight
Laugh, time is the jester
Another day

Just Nine Lines contest..
At Little Big Horn in the prairie grass
Custer was known as Yellow Hair alas.
But it was Custer who fell
and Crazy Horse they tell
was from that day on known as Kickin’ Ass!
The Seventh Cavalry on his command
rode into battle severely outmanned.
Now at West Point in his class
they say he finished dead last
but that’s nothin’ compared to his last stand!
Proud and gallant he rides in a field
The smell of lavender sprinkles the air
She knows not if the vision before her is real
He sees her sitting on an old stump
Making a wreath of white daisies
Then carefully approaches her and whinnies
Of pure heart this maiden is
He puts his noble head in her lap
She touches his horn in disbelief
Her chastity is the only key
To unlock the secret
The girl then awakens in a haze
One says that a Unicorn
is a mythical creature,
one horn in the middle
of it’s his head…
Unicorns are said to be
a very gentle creature…
Were they “Fantasy or Real”?
Cultures have stories from
China, Scotland, Greece and
many more places you see…
Coats of the Unicorn have been
said to be of many colors,
from dark-brown, very black,
silver and pure white…
Do you believe in Unicorns?

Tyrannosaurus have come to bore us
till the next Jurassic Park movie’s nigh
Archaeopteryx’s feathers look more like sticks
who believes this lizard could fly?
Triceratops were dutiful pops
still the kids got a horn in the eye,
though Hadrosaurus were really flatus
their duckbill toots were just a sigh.
But with Comet Chicxulub,
Dinos joined the extinct club
though bird descendants remain
and if we don’t get our act together
Homo-sapiens’ fate will be the same.
