Little drops of rain
That falls on velvet petals

Home
Yearning for the feel of home.
This homesickness eats me to the bone.
I know i'll never feel it again, still this homesickness has no end.

It’s an emotion
we all experience from time to time

Homesickness

Peeping through trees at ninety degrees,
Up above at the shaded sky-blue.

T'was there I was free but alone,
now earthbound and dreaming of home.
A mere image to most and i do so try not to boast;
though now stuck with homesickness syndrome.

Right there- between earth and our sun,
before this life-there I came from.
Believe me I'm true and there were others there too,
did not know this is what I'd become....
