Time

Time -
a high-priced commodity,
leaves us with a shortened
supply of memories
until it's our turn
to pass on.

Death -
the fickle fiend
leaves a gnawing ache
inside our brains,
stinging with hurt until
there's a mountain left of
time.

Scruples

Principles that govern
a man’s thoughts and actions
are often purchased
with unspent desire.

Scruples,
logical ethics and morals,
are high-priced considering
the value of pleasure.

A loyal and steadfast
husband to a frigid wife
mortgages his heart,
and the affection of angels
is his only
accumulated interest.

I’m goin’ back to cowboy ways
 What difference can it make
I shaved and took a bath last month
She still left town with Jake

Bart was an oldtime gunslinger,
 One that you never saw.
 Lightnin’ fast on the trigger,but
 Awful slow on the draw.

He was struttin’ a high priced roan..
 Came for poker with us
Sent him back broke and all alone
 Ridin’ a Greyhound bus

When Tax Season Comes

When tax season comes, I relax...
not worried cause I have my facts
along with a friend
that helps to the end...
my financial aide, Turbo Tax!

So simple, it says what to do...
just type numbers in, click review.
No big fees to pay
high-priced C P A...
sends it to the I R S too!

Premium Member Blatant Racism -- Satire

They're looting Wal-Marts today
  to solve America's problems tomorrow
Anyone with a heart can see
  Wal-Mart's blatantly racist pedigree

Why, they've hired a single black
and non-white customers enter from the back
Only rich folks can afford their stuff
their high-priced items cost so much

Wal-Mart robs and rapes our country blind
a product of white folks' poisoned minds
If we can just burn down all their stores
there won't be no racism in the USA no more

You Don'T Need a Girlfriend

Listen up and be aware
when you have yourself a dog
A pooch don't care if you dare
to just sit there like a log

When you two go out you'll see
There's no dinner or dancing
They just want to take a pee
Not some high priced romancing

A few kibbles here and there
They'll be your friend for life
If you're broke they don't care
They don't want to be a wife

They don't care about clothes
When to them you are so kind
But as far as romance goes......
Oh, okay, well never mind

After the Cruise

Say goodbye to all that food
And plugs for each promotion,
Though you'll miss the balcony
And gazing at the ocean.

Bid farewell to fawning staff
And pulsing entertainment,
Whirlpools that you never touched,
The spa for stress containment.

Wave adieu to high-priced shops,
The neon-bright casino,
People traipsing 'round in robes,
The endless pours of vino.

Soon enough, you'll be back home,
The empty fridge a'waiting.
Will you welcome normal life?
To me, there's no debating.
