Iguana wears a dragon’s coat
And haughty dragon stare.
If you should find him in your bath,
He’d give you quite a scare!

Listen to poem:
magpie struts haughty
its demeanor black and white
lies betwixt between
warbling dawn chorus
is a caroling warning ~
this is my flock folks
Dotty Bawdy-Body was haughty
Just like you, she had to go potty
Well, the Men's had no queue
So she went to their 'Loo
And became, "Naughty Dotty Hottie"
At 3
At 3 a
haughty handful of
mist helped continue to
grow in
density the
relationships among my
neurons (my neurons are
brownish-yellow).
The time of the clock,
The ships are in the dock,
The whistle of the wind,
Through the haughty tamarind,
Now I can’t think ‘cause it’s summer, don’t mock.

Construction worker Fred, never snotty
Boastful, self-righteous, or slightly haughty
They laid him to rest
Midst tribute the best
Gold-plated, silver-edged Porta-Potty
stand here

with staff
in hand
tawed
tined
and staid
Hob –
goblin
he, a
tricky
ol’ fellow
haughty
‘n hasty
in greed
As a poet, I'm aware of rhyming words
Like many such as these, birds, herds, and curds
Not being snotty
Not too haughty
But at times I find witty ones like turds
Well limericks are supposed to be naughty
Though sometimes I try to be haughty
Must play by the rules
Maybe talk about tools
And surfaces that are holey and knotty
Haughty Tiger was blatantly vain
She presumed that poor Ass had no brain
Ass stayed cool when hunters came
And pretended to be lame
But Miss Knowall was bound to a chain.

The Cat
the truth I do not stretch or shove
the haughty cat looks down from above.
she struts about with nose held high,
and glares at me with disdainful eye.
Art deco dictates a strong womanly arrogance
Her orange hair accented her headdress true
I saw her in a vision dream, of course only once
She parades herself in a painting, looking haughty and new.
Limericks Don’t Blush
A limerick is meant to be bawdy
not cater to those a bit haughty
ruffling feathers
exposing pleasures
cuz limericks are out and out naughty

Lovely bird wears her lifesaver with a haughty air.
The rest of us act like it’s normal and we don’t care.
In truth, she is a snob, so we do not let her play.
So we are jealous bullies, in an unkind way.
Lovely bird wears her lifesaver with a haughty air.
The rest of us act like it’s normal and we don’t care.
In truth, she is a snob, so we do not let her play.
So we are jealous bullies, in an unkind way.
We laugh to be pleased.
It may be harsh and haughty.
It may seem quite rough.
Haters use satire to taunt.
It's a criminal's platform.

A haughty guy, closing his eyes,
Thinks that he is very wise.
Building castles in the skies,
After false prestige, he flies.
Advice of others he bluntly defies,
As a man of half knowledge, he dies.
For love my haughty heart fell apart on a courteous cart;
Love was once wicked, hurting my heart, I hated it as hell.
I’m sick, soaked in this sensual stream…I will surrender
Haughty eyes,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood.
A heart that devises wicked schemes,
A mind that pursues wicked dreams
A false witness who pours out lies
And any man who stirs up strife.
Two friends with haughty heads on long neck’s crest,
can’t enter nearby house through door for fest.
Dinner time of elation,
can’t control temptation,
sneak through window as uninvited guest.
Bound to a fiery chair
Burned by my despair
Scorched by my mistakes' glare
Reality torched me to my last hair
The world melted me with care
My haughty hands throw me down the hatch
And my pride lit the match
A haughty dame from far Brisbane, Looked on others with sheer disdain,
She spoke in a huff,
Her manner was rough,
She was put in an asylum for the insane.
