Eyes Make Hearts Roll
You roll your eyes,
my heart misses pulses,
hastening to say a million ayes,
you do it matter of fact,
I have to use all energy I have,
not to crumble and stay intact....

Spring
   sown

   nature’s promise
      respite rest

   veiled

in
sirens feathers
mirthful breeze

forest within
   hastening
      heartbeat

   beckons

springs
   untiring sounds

MY THOUGHTS

My thoughts,
Like angels of heaven
Above,
Their lofty wings unfold to
Their ultimate width
Hastening
Close to you to fly,
Your precious being
To protect
And soar your love
To the SKY!

My prayer,

Like the angels of heaven above,

Its lofty wings unfold to their ultimate width

Hastening my soul close to you, my Lord to fly,

Your holy mercy to seek, so as the sinner me,

To soar to the sky.

Windows
standing at windows the day speeds by,

people scurry as ants or inside metal monsters,

always coming to and away,

business of great importance,

hastening deeds so that more deeds may be done,

and more quickly.

Neon signs and gas to pump,

gazing from above,

seemingly moments,

but wasting days,

killing time or simply maiming it....

Princess Among the Night
Advent, passing drapery
To the veiling days

Traverse within the dusk
Amidst twilight’s threshold hushes

But, for mere moments…
Then the hastening

Twinkling sparkles
Thus, commence jealousy influx

And heavenly bodies falling
For simple glimpses of your face

Where nights with moonlit crown halos
Unfold before you…

Bestowing buttress sound
Royal eves, the subjects to your grace...

Inobservance
My beloved did grant, her permission received
That I may enter within, in a most blessed way
Destined to counter the ways, of those in decay
To unloose the bonds, of those sorely deceived

Immediately hastening forth, quickly we did go
To complete a task, embarked on an arduous trip
The spirit to bestow, with an unquenchable grip
To delineate a path, the way for mine to know...

Thank You
I want to gift my kiss to you
To taste forbidden fruit and glory
I'm grateful and I'm thanking you
You are unanswered and I'm sorry.

I know, you're rushing to the place
of meeting hastening term and hour
always like in first time, your grace
vibrates and you remember hugs, my flower.

Oh, sweetheart, how can I forget?
I'm really thanking you, my dear,
I never spoke, I love, it's sad
in our happiness and fear....

Premium Member In the Time of Hastening
In the time of hastening
all dread is loosed.
It is loosed upon the world
in torrents of salt.
Still, we be not seasoned
as the wood.
Too green, we shrink.

The oak must be polished,
the fine mahogany stained,
the walnut drawn out
like a slow summer.
Inward the rafters
belie promises of strength.

The hearth of fine wood
will not burn
among the ashes.
It is saved from desolation.
The body is broken
upon the ash....

I see no shelter
I see no shelter,
while I move past the crowds,
eager to put down the burden,
weighed upon my shoulders.

I see no shelter,
to quench my undying thirst,
in the scorching heat of loneliness,
that shrivel up my hopes.

I see no shelter,
to hide from the sun's flare,
that blinds my sight,
hindering my journey ahead.

For all I see are men,
hastening around me,
waiting for none but for themselves,
among the ravening....

(spring, summer and autumn)

from under the earth's hard crust
sprung a host of daffodils~
golden tint thrills eyes

ladybird in polka frock
hid under the leaf~
shaded from summer's hot beams

 (7, 5, 7)

dry leaves flew about
hastening to their cold grave~
some moan under crushing boots

Midsummer Night
Abstract algorithm. Brooding distraction,
cleverly cloaked in digital fleece.
Enigma encoded. Like so many fireflies,
Hastening gauntly heavenward.
Juniper immolation.
Ides jaundiced light.
Kinetic kites, luminescent in the night.
Milky Way mighty, northward pointing,
Occidental wind opens, plumes rising.
Quickened quiet shroud.
Revelation.
Reincarnate.
Souls thin the veil.
Under the upholstered vault,
 xylem-charred waste,
Drawn to the yawning zodiac....

Flash-Backs At Forty-One
Memories sharpen with hastening years…
Sand-box and shovel and toys
And tree-forts and pranks, and my Sunday-school thanks,
Little boy yearnings and joys.

Later, Tom Sawyer’s the would-be Don Juan,
Highways, and one-night hotels.
Cheap beer at the bar. And an unlucky star
Lighting those furnished room hells.

Finally, faces of long-ago friends
Focus, recede and return;
One dead and some wed…souvenirs in my head.
Brilliant memories burn
Sweeter than incense, within the mind’s urn....
