Jesus Knows Who I Am? Written: by Tom Wright 4/9/2018 He knows me intimately as a hard line guy, To declare otherwise, truthfulness, I’d betray. It’s just who I am, and past history don’t lie, I see things in true colors, not shades of grey. I’m always candid, calling a spade a spade, No thoughts of procrastination do I allow. It cannot exist the naysayer argued.
I knew it did, so I kept my lips compressed.
The naysayer wanted an argument.
He had never seen a turquoise owl.
I knew with this hard line of ignorance he never would.
Until he opened his mind how could his heart open?
I continued around the corner.
Liberace, the turquoise owl gave me a wink.
What are you doing here in the day time? I asked him.
He shrugged.
