If You Believe

It cannot exist the naysayer argued. I knew it did, so I kept my lips compressed. The naysayer wanted an argument. He had never seen a turquoise owl. I knew with this hard line of ignorance he never would. Until he opened his mind how could his heart open? I continued around the corner. Liberace, the turquoise owl gave me a wink. What are you doing here in the day time? I asked him. He shrugged. I guess nothing is impossible if you believe.
