Then, a worker bee,
Next, I will retire
Before I expire.
Finally, geezer-of-leisure free."

She Must of Been a Gypsy

She must of been,
A gypsy,
The way she dances,
And flutters,
From garden to vineyard,
Mango to iris caress
Reynaldo Casison

Gypsy Life

Adventurous gypsy
         Mild Balalaika,
         harps and wine
         ...daggers in the heart
         dragostea illusion...

Premium Member Gypsy Child

Celestial magnificence
Gypsy moon
Leading the way
To Cosmic magic

Sprinkled stars
Glittering madly
Knowing my heart
Better than I.

Gypsy

There once was a young man from Poughkeepsie
Who wanted to live life as a gypsy
In far land
Met rogue band
He soon learned such life was very risky.

Premium Member Dreaming Myself To Gypsyhood

The gypsy life appeals to me
I love fun Bohemian ways
Pretty jewelry, fancy skirts
Their beautiful wagons
My hippie-like self
Vicarious
Wonderlust

Premium Member Gypsy Dancer

So fragile, I could count the veins
   beneath her pink petaled softness.

In ruffled skirts, like a gypsy she danced,
coaxing her unopened buds to bloom.

My Gypsy Soul

I never thought about being a gypsy soul
I like my life in control
I experience the dark and the ocean sharks
I like to get out of that cave
and be brave
I like to feel saved.

Her clients would generously tip her,
though she showed naught at all with her zipper.
She had plenty to hide,
revealed only one side,
She was a champion mobius stripper.

Irises With Gypsy Dresses

The irises,
In van goghs,
Dreamy canvas,

Sway,
Like lovely ladies,
In purple gypsy dresses,

To a still lilys sonata,
As the roses and sunflowers,
Sigh in vivid chorus,
And hues
Reynaldo Casison
Form: Lyric

Gypsy Wind

The beginning and ending
are easy to see
The middle much harder
and masked by degree

It moves and it changes
from angle and scope
To keep you uneasy
—and married to hope

Premium Member Gypsy Eyes

I saw black birds against cloud canvas,
     aestheticism in motion.
I saw a rainbow tower meet sky,
and I supposed a pot of gold.
Everywhere jade gypsy eyes roam,
I see jewels, swirling skirts and God.

The Gypsy Camp

Brass
bells ring
along swamps
shadowy edge.
Children running free;
flutes echoing laughter;
cimmerian eyed beauty
hips swaying to an earthy beat.
Simple suppers roast over fire.
Welcoming the despised plebians home.

Swirling skirts moving like a rhyme
of an older time
when the world was wild and free,
but what has that to do with me?

You are a daughter of the sun
and of the moon,
a sweet remembrance sung
by the celestial tune.

You’ve mirrored me in gypsy eyes,
               which never take but borrow

You’ve bathed me in your gypsy eyes,
which are your pools of sorrow

You’ve gazed at me with gypsy eyes,
               which never see tomorrow ...

Gateways and passages take me to different soils. Yes, my footprints lead me knocking at your door. Please be my home just for the night. Save me from my lone from endless goodbyes. You’re the only one I need till the morning sun arise.

billowing skirt whirls on air
wild and chase, that’s gypsy flair

belly moves like ocean wave
in the rhythm of each octave

swirls and sways with bouncing feet
synchronizes with every season’s hit

night and day never quits
flowing recklessly in her own beat

Gypsy Heart

I'd like to stop and chat with you

But alas I'm only passing through

From this moment into the next

Wherever it is I'm feeling led

Deep down inside this Gypsy soul

Follows where this one man Gypsy caravan rolls

Hoping one day it will find

Another Gypsy heart like mine

Gypsy Heart

I have a Gypsy Heart
from here to there I go.
I live for adventure.

Day by day,
I never know where I will go.
Just know I will always,
follow my gypsy heart.
It takes me to all the places
I will go, to and fro.

And I carry each and everyone of you
in my Gypsy Heart where ever I will go.

Swaying On a Gypsy Wind

Within a lush verdant meadow
there meanders a docile stream
where wildflowers profusely bloom
beneath the warm breath of the sun.
They sway on whispers of a gypsy wind
as it gently drifts across this Elysian field.
