Cup of Love

.

        I guzzle
      she quaffs
         I swill
      she swigs

           We
drink from the cup
        of love

Daybreak
A dry wind pushes noisily through the trees.
A fine patina of dust and pollen age the world.
Blueberry bushes guzzle water like baby birds.
It’s going to be a hot one.

St Pat's Day

The Irish, 'tis said, as a nation,
They're quite fond of inebriation.
  So they guzzle large vats
On the day called St. Pat’s
'Tween rounds of Gaelic fornication.

Asighd From Sighence

Ah, sighence, indeed quite a puzzly puzzle.
The hypothermical leaves you chilly with a muzzle.
Solvent? I think not,
Stirring up the pot,
Overflow of info, gear up you better guzzle.

To Masticate (I'M Hungry)

yummy chewy
yucky gooey

Hide it hoard it
We all adore it

suck it slurp it
guzzle it burp it

Soft or crunchy
Choose your munchy

Bite it lick it
In your mouth is where ya stick it

Premium Member I Devour My Food

I devour my food
not in dainty bites
Slicing it savagely
with my tiny babyish teeth
guzzle my drink
a glutton I am
living life on the brink
of enjoyment
showing off my long teeth roots
and my tiny gnashing power

Hassle

When a person was dying.
Is it painful, he was crying?
Calling his relatives one-by-one,
Clearing his name, he was trying.

He was nervous and puzzle,
Trying to rime a life guzzle,
Pain, dreams and happiness,
He was taking why hassle.

Bird Brain

Now here is a strange pair of folk
If one swallows, the other croaks
Looks quite a tussle
Bird wants to guzzle
But the bullfrog hangs on, says nope

Guzzle Down Puzzle Before It Does Fizzle

when we would guzzle
great and astounding puzzle
was sure to fizzle

solution resolved
around answer revolved
while we were involved

about abortion
always out of proportion
also distortion

had been a dump cluck
when we became put of luck
out steering wheel stuck

The Dinosaurs

The big Allosaurus
Loved to bite its neighbour
Guzzle blood by gallons

The Apatosaurus
Laid eggs in sand nest
An ugly herbivore

A few had wings to fly
Giant beaks and piercing eyes
Stole fledgling from nests

But lived long ago
That we may never learn or know
whether could be good pets

I'm taking a break from all this hustle.
My mind is in a swirl, my nerves in a bustle.
My thoughts are scattered like a broken puzzle.
My mouth just won't stop, I need a muzzle.
I think i need a good big guzzle,
And you beside me just to snuggle.

Lymphomaniac

Please
Don’t drink
The lymph
Anymore

Hospital wretch
Chubs in scrubs
Sorting sifting searching
Medical waste surprise

Biohazard beverage
White lumpy lymph
Don’tcha dare incinerate
My lymph

Want that lymph
Need that lymph
Find that lymph
Drink that lymph

Splotchgulp foam
Guzzle-muzzle glob
Smackety-spit dribble
Lymph-lymph-lymph

Drink Until Its Gone

Pour me a glass
Big and slender
I just need that bender

Guzzle it down
Poor me
Poor me

Give me what you got
As long as it works
Don't make me tell you again clerk

Guzzle it down
Poor me
Poor me

Tipsy and ready to go
Glass down in maybe two gulps
Give me another look ill beat you to a pulp

Guzzle it down
Poor me
Poor me

Drown sorrows
Drown memories
Poor you

Premium Member Snake In the Water

We came from the water
are made mostly of water
grew in a pocket of water
like to live near the water
frolic with dolphins in the water
float and sail atop the water
squirt each other with water
guzzle gallons of water
take food from the water
hunt treasure in the water
splash in puddles of water
we're baptized in water
leave bubbles in the water
but like a startled snake
we coil up when it rains

Philosophize the Beat To My Heart

I’m going to comprehend my rhyme

Breakwater below your feet

Psalms I scream

For his brainless thoughts, are not his fault

So please absorb, guzzle or swallow, this free verse

For I speak to a ghost

Each second, I see your eyes

Philosophize the beat to my heart

Has I scream out your blood

Hoping you’ll disappear

Before I finish breaking water below your feet

And, no you may not have a seat

Bow to the partner in the corner
Hey, this dance ain't nothin' but torture!

Heads lean left and circle to a line
Guzzle down that old moonshine!

Roll away to a half sashay
Get down on your knees and pray.

Circle round and round with the dear little thing
but for God's sakes don't let her sing!

Meet your partner and promenade
Slip a little 'shine in the lemonade!

Allemande left with your left hand
Drop him in a big box of quicksand!

In and Out

If you want to help defeat
Summer's brutal blasts of heat,
Do what experts say you oughter,
Guzzle lots and lots of water.

I imbibe so much each day,
Likely more that what I weigh,
That, while it's preventing thirst,
Part of me's about to burst.

Bladders only hold so much
And when certain muscles clutch,
There must be a quick release
If you want to have some peace.

My advice when heat's unrolled:
Drink as much as you can hold;
But be sure you always know
The nearest place where you can go!
