Faith

When trials press us sore,
And tend to overwhelm,
We can rest assured
Our ship will not go under,
When Jesus is at the helm.

Love Is Like An Ocean

Love is like an ocean,
it holds such mystery,
on the surface it reveals,
everything we can see.

Once you go under,
there are wonders to behold,
and as the years go by so quickly,
many stories can now be told.
Form: Narrative

Bathroom Floor Revelations

i'll bleed myself out
in this swollen well of ink
releasing tension
as deep red swirls into blue-black
the walls are slick
with the parts of myself
i can never climb out of
& as i go under
i wont bother
holding my breath

Desperation

What is life all about,
When I am left without.

Everything that is around,
Just seems to surround.

I try to run away,
But i always lose my way.

I try to move on,
But I keep slowing down.

I will soon go under,
Hope I will be pulled asunder.

Premium Member Giving Meds To a Cat

My cat runs and hides
She knows it is time
For her to have meds
Doors must be closed
Only her door opened

She'll go under the bed
Then go hug the wall
Making herself small
Now her door is closed
She can not escape

I 'm chasing my cat
To carry her upstairs
Her meds waiting

Under the Sky

Forward I go under the sky,
a talent in my hand,
a star attracts me on the sly
by manna from heaven.

My bare soul, run to the star,
salt down my body!
from ennui take away my arm,
and keep me busy!

It shines in the eternal dark,
it needs not much -
only the talent - coin odd -
for food the charge.
Form: Verse

The Wall

The wall
The wall was built to keep them out.
Or was it built to keep us in?
Built so tall you can't climb over
And you can't go under it.
So long that you can't go round.
No doors at one end
But a gate to let you in or out.
You can touch the wall
But don't climb on it.
It's just a wall to me and you.

Death of Love

My heart Your heart become one
We go under a tree to block out the sun
The heart beats boom boom
The love is filling all the room
me and you feel real good
we cant be in love
i wish we could
cause four years ago
i went strait above
yes im from heaven
i died long ago
but one thing remains here
our love from the soul

Premium Member Beneath the Blanket

When there are two lovers
It's like a woolen blanket
Warm underneath the fabric
And quite fuzzy there too
Hands attach together below
Allowing touching to and fro
Sometimes both go under
To kiss each other unseen
Lovers love the image of a blanket
Because it's a tool that they use
To show each other the love
That they have for one another

Men and Women

MSN has done a study
Results of which won’t fool nobody
“Men and women aren’t the same”
(Palm-slap on my forehead - - - pain)
I would have told them, for I’ve seen
Different parts there in between
Shapes and curves I needn’t mention
That always gets a guy’s attention
They had but to go under covers
There’s so much more one then discovers

Cupboard Slam

Glimmer
Shimmer
Diet until thinner
Bleach one's teeth
Go under the surgeon's knife
Live the Hollywood life
Accumulate wealth
Excercise daily
Eat like a squirrel
But if you don't feed the middle
The bit between your head
You might as well be dead
Because you can't cheat yourself
A shelf is still a shelf
Despite the look of the cupboard

Sinking, Drowning, Grasping

As I am sinking,

as I slowly drown,

I am grasping,

making no sound,

suffocating as I go under,

things are going dark

will there come a saviour

to rescue me

and save the day

It's gone beyond

me saving myself

I tried so hard but floundered

and now I need some help

or it's all over

and all good things

will come to an end.

Fallow My Advice

Wait a moment
Darkness is removing
Day is rising
With the cheer of bird
Wait a moment
Slowly and gradually sun
Will be goes hard
Before that show your move
Do your decision
Before sun goes hard
Protect yourself
Search out a shelter
Don’t delay now
Go under the shadow
I know your soft beauty
Cannot bear hard sunshine
So understood my thought
Fallow my advice

Hope For the Hopeless

Author Dana Redricks
September 12, 2018

Dear Lord you
give hope to the
Hopeless
When the storms
of life is raging
Just when it seem
we are about to
 go under
God is there to pull
us up
Dear Lord you give
us hope to carry on
When the aches
and pains says we
can't go another
step you lift us
up in your loving
arms and carry us
through the morning
light

It's the Light Thing

Here I am; stuck to the ceiling
Counting down hours (gasp - minutes!) until I burn out

See many people go under me
Some fat; some thin
Some tall; some short
Just don't want to see too much while they use the toilet!

Why do peole have to constantly
Switch me on and off; over and over?
I should be able to control that - thanks a lot people!

What a crazy life this is!

Drowning

I know that it’s good
Most of the time
My heads above water
Most of the time
But sometimes I go under
And I’m really not fine
I’m gasping for breath
It’s a really thin line
I’m trying so hard to swim
But sometimes I sink
I’m trying hard not to hurt
But sometimes I think
I remember painful things
A wave crashing over me
The more that I remember
I’m getting drown at sea

Premium Member my favorite soup has no name

My favorite soup is my own invention
It has no name, but it is a combination
Navy beans and ham, sliced potatoes,
Onions with lots of salt and pepper.
Cornbread is a necessiity, to go under it.
If you have honey and horseradish, add it.
To the soup or the cornbread?
I do not care, both. Corn must be added too.
I almost forgot that part. It is my favorite soup, but it has no name.

In the Free Flow

Don’t stop wind flow
Don’t stop Ganga flow
Everyone free to do
What they like
It is like the shame of your face
Suddenly viewed and suddenly hide
Moon is also go under the cloud
Sun is also go disappear
But after sometime
Sun spread light
On whole sky on whole earth
So do a meaningful talk
I need your view near my heart
Remove the cloud of uncertainty
Swim with me in the free flow

The Gods Are Not Blind

You dig a tunnel and blind it with velvelt
You throw a rose on the velvelt and welcome me to the throne
What do you call my crime?

You water down my wine and whittle down the sparkle
You savour my stew and make holes in the cooking pot
What do you say I did?

You sling stones and go under the mortar
The gods are not blind oh you smart snake
Sooner than you think the pestle will find the mortar.

Fallen Snow

It isn’t right when snow, once white,
Turns dirty brown or grayish
For when we glance, we’ll look askance
And maybe feel dismayish.

It’s very strange. What makes it change?
My grandson asked, in wonder.
Well, cars and feet out on the street
Make all the white go under.

Some parts stay clean and quite pristine
Just like a new marshmallow,
But walk around, if on the ground,
You see some snow that’s yellow!

Surgery

The feeling I feel about you in my life is a feeling I never felt before.
And if something ever happe to you ,I don't think I could live without you anymore.
So every time you go under the knife, I almost feel like I'm losing my mind.
I hope and pray to god your fine and well.
But my negative thinking just takes over my mind.
Oh how I wish these bad days would pass in the night,So by morning you would
be in my arms and be alright.

The Fool

Two souls devided by destiny, seperated by the longest infinity, The waters cold as we go under, The winds try to break us asunder, and we float away, night by night and day by day, we will stay, forever more with frozen tears, always and forever with whispered fears, our souls intwined with one another, never seeing, yet knowing eachother. That is the fate of the lovers card, when one is too much the fool.
