Angle Did Dangle

Angle Did Dangle

With Trump we had  gotten into a tangle;
Knew how to get around and every angle;
Constipated,
So irrigated;
At times, him often would like to strangle.

You have to laugh at this one.

Public Transportation

buses cabs subways
how I get around
no subways are here
so buses will do
for six days a week

cities subways
when I am there
cabs cost too much
subways are quick

hitch hiked some
younger days
now buses

bus fare
one way

stop

Life

Some may stay with me
and some will go,
through treacherous paths
and life's sorrows

Happiness and joy ever present
we just have to find them
and be patient

Life has its up
and life has its downs
it all depends
on how we get around

Premium Member No Poem of the Day

Didn't get around to writing a poem today
racked my brain, but can't think of a single word play
allowed too much other stuff to get in my way
with all that's on my heart, where's my communique?
now here I am, without a single rhyme to say! :O

Vanilla and Plain

Long have I skipped along
The razor thin edge between
The things that keep me strong
And others that keep me quarantined

Afraid to settle down
Because normal is just so weird
I guess it's time to get around
The plain life I've always feared

GIVE ME A HOG by keith

Gimme a hog
Make it low to the ground
Gimme a hog
So I can get around
Gimme a hog
‘cause they’s the dope
Gimme a hog
One like the pope.
Gimme a hog
Make it all nice and shiny
Gimme a hog
So I can haul some hiney

Premium Member Santa Uses a Sleigh

Santa uses a sleigh
A race car!
A sled!
A tambourine!

How do you use a tambourine?
He drummed out a beat.
We mean to get around
To travel

Oh, that’s easy.
He has a limousine.
We are in ready-to-punch-each-other mode now
Just then Santa flies by under a helium balloon

Premium Member Computers, Like the Air We Breathe

     Don't you agree with me
       Computers should be free
     Like the air we breathe
        They’re both necessities

     They should last forever too
Not like if my car breaks down
I’ve got other ways to get around
But without my computer, I am through

Premium Member Friendly Little Ghost

There was a friendly little Ghost
who wanted to Trick Or Treat --
What would he wear!? And how
to get around, no longer having
feet? Candy he loved, but floating
himself, perhaps would be a bit too
scary -- so he went to rent a
human costume, frightened the sheet
out of the store-clerk named Mary.

To You

To you..
What am I considered?
A friend or tool..
Thought I was appreciated
You making me a fool?

Do you realize..
Women talk
Actions get around the block
Juju can be good or bad
I wont deliver it,
But one day I'll be glad
Something you really wanted
Didn't go your way
Messes with plans
Never expect sun to not shine rays

Premium Member That Deepest Fog

Fog creeps in slowly, bit by bit
a tiny blur, at first it seems,
to lightly cloud, yet most stands out
enough to move and get around.
But, woe those days as it grows thick
     when barely silhouettes will form!
As eyes and mind become confused-
there's frantic hope that it will pass.
