That Deepest Fog

Fog creeps in slowly, bit by bit
a tiny blur, at first it seems,
to lightly cloud, yet most stands out
enough to move and get around.
But, woe those days as it grows thick
     when barely silhouettes will form!
As eyes and mind become confused-
there's frantic hope that it will pass.

Sometimes life is easily seen through distraction, but the greater the emotion soon all else is lost. 🕊️🐈

Ah the glimmer of hope when everything feels confused in the chaos! When the fog deepens but still ~ in some corner, the heart still believes. The way you've described melancholy here, those days when grief goes heavier and weighs us down .. it's all too resonating. Truly a soul-stirring and moving write, dear Sandra. Best wishes to you in the contest ✨🌙🕊️⭐
