Poseidon’s spear slashed out from the angry waves
A tumultuous monsoon began to gather up the sea
The faerie folk went into hiding
When they saw army of sea cupids
Given Up All Hope
Of things, Trump never understood the scope,
While women, he would gather up and grope;
Always mumbling;
An idiot bumbling,
And on him we definitely did give up all hope.

Building castles on a sandy beach
I left to gather up more sand
But, in one castle, a shock
Ran through my wind-blown locks
Castle, occupied
Sand crab resides
Pinched finger
Band-aid
Time.
As dawn meets a new day
I stretch and raise
When I reach for my
Thoughts of yesterday
As I gather up my memories,
Before they get away
We should all be thankful
For all the good things
That has come our way
Today and....... ALWAYS
hark
arise
gather up
your
thoughts,
spread out
your
wings
and fly:
the
world
is
your
oyster
Let nothing
hold
you back
inspired by Strauss Sunrise op 30 clip
Gates open, lift the veil.
Grey: the space between us.
Gentle is your presence.
Glassy, your reflection.
Gather up, beside me.
Guide me with subtle signs.
Guarding me on my path.

CAN'T WAIT FISHING BAIT by James Edward Lee Sr.
I would go into the garage and…
Gather up all my fishing stuff.
Soon as I’m done head to car.
Put key in ignition.
On my way to lake
All ready now.
Wait a sec.

i can gaze
at the moon,
but i can't
touch her
i can
gather up
flowers,
i can't
be a flower,
i can
listen
to birds
sing,
i can't
sing
like they do,
i can
hold leaves
in my hand,
i can't become
a tree,
i can
taste
raindrops,
i can't
be the cloud.
October evening, gold and gray
Storm clouds gather up above
Winds will whisper, trees will sway
With barn owls and with mourning doves
October evening, gray and gold
Soon the lantern shall be lit
And hoards of specters, young and old
Like moths, will all be drawn to it.
ROOTS
They came seeking a future not their own
carrying naught but memories too soon to fade
into the substance of a union of hearts.
In leaving left the spitting image of themselves
to gather up their memories lest they fade.

Fingering verse until it bleeds
until it turned us cold and silent
lays rust over the soul
for ornament is a parasite to the senses.
We must slit our wrists, shatter the shell
'Gather up our breath from the lung of hell
Slash every gilded facade
drink the salty ocean
like the rest of the pod.
As long As you love me
I'll stay by your side
I'll be your companion
your friend and your guide
As long as you love me
As long as you care
I'll do anything for you
I'll go anywhere with you
I'll bring you the sunshine
I'll comfort your tears
I'll gather up rainbows
to chase all your tears.
Form:
Take a quick moment to sneak a peak into me
Into my pain, but only gather up the pieces of me, which do not desire to cause you this same rain.
I am purposely here. You are to, don’t be drowned out by the sorrows left in you!
Get up! The fight is isn’t OVER, and you can’t win a battle, wishing on a four leaved clover!

When life brings us what it brings us
We must never ignore the option of UP
Look up
Get up
Stand up
Sit up
Climb up
Lift up
Firm up
Rise up
Step up
Rouse up
Stir up
Move up
Scale up
Gather up
Regardless of what life brings us
Recovery follows when we explore the option of UP
Why
does my
Pa always
insist that I
help gather up thousands of fallen leaves
when many tree branches are still covered,
we will repeat
it next week...
I hate
fall!

~ Day's sealed ~
The sun's made its turn
Farmer's chores almost done
It's afternoon's downside
Kick back, stretch and yawn
Afternoon heat shimmers
over cornstalks and hay
Nearing the end
of another workday
Gather up some stray eggs
Feed the cows one last meal
The shadows now long
Come sunset ~ day's sealed
Beneath each slender limb and bough
Are beds of russet silken cloths
Discarded leaflets from their home
Like orphans left to die alone
As rumors spread by autumn wind
She'll gather up each orphan, gold
No headstone for the bold and rust
Cold ash to ash... will turn to dust

I’ve been gone to long my children.
I am coming back to gather up my people, this world has not changed. I see how much of me is gone,
It breaks my heart to see. But I’m coming back with vengeance every rock will cry out.
Where will your heart be? The devil is winning to many
souls. I have been gone to long I’m coming back to take my
faithful home

On the days the wind does blow
life gets caught up in how things should go
and winds gather up the harvest from the field to tow
to blow up harvest in good flight it may freely flow
but what of those who never know
and never feel the warm winds of autumn blow
and the scythes will never come home
and all hope of good harvest is then
forever gone
S-atisfaction fills the day,
A-s the sun shines in the sky;
R-aindrops shall never fall
A-s clouds don't gather up
H-igh.
J-ubilation brings brightness,
A-ugust thirtieth early morn;
N-ight shadows disappear,
E-cstasy won't get worn.
R-apture and pure pleasure
E-levate the joy of occasion;
Y-our birth causes gladness,
E-ventful day of
S-atisfaction.
Passions unite;
My heart witness;
Minds loses sight;
Kisses of spiritual bliss;
O' Lord God gather up your people:
Father surround the temple;
My eyes whispers,
those sonnets playing;
As my feet dances to abundance street serenede
My heart witness;
Mind still loses sight;
Kisses of spiritual bliss;
Passions united..

As Long as you love me
I Will stay by your side
I'll be your companion
Your friend and your guide
As Long as you love me
As Long as you care
I'll do anything for you
I'll go anywhere
I'll bring you the sunshine

As Long as forever
My Love will be true
For as long as you love me
I'll only love you.
My world is getting smaller
as age draws distance in.
And yet its orbit grows larger
as it extends outwards
to gather up all the ordinary
and familiar things to flare
and shine bright
in the heavens of the mind,
swirling in an endless arc
just above my chair.
I reach up
and plunge my hand
deep into the light
to see what I can bring
back stuck in the wrinkles
of my skin.
When I was crazy,
Everyone was bubbles.
And they never popped.
And they never shrunk to nothingness.
Everything was about to repair itself naturally.
When I was crazy,
I would gather up my family and friends.
I would talk and forget, talk and forget.
Then explain with a jolt.
My words would bubble and burble like from a fish’s mouth.
When I was crazy…
Everyone loved me.
When I was crazy.
