does my
Pa always
insist that I
help gather up thousands of fallen leaves
when many tree branches are still covered,
we will repeat
it next week...
I hate
fall!

Then I think about the time when the color is gone, the branches are bare and winter sets in and wish for a few more warm days of fall. Congrats and high fives. Hugs!

On Fort Apache Indian Reservation, we see leaves littering the ground, but the different hues create a scene of beauty, so enjoy it and let those who want a tidy nature rake the leaves!
