A man fights his best against the cold hard facts:
Physics, chemistry, biology and time.
With these opponents he gamely interacts.
Toiling, with love and dreams, any peak he'd climb.
Watching sports, it's the underdog that attracts.
So, choose man with his aspirations, sublime.
Each victory we must cheer and celebrate,
Knowing as we do, the cold hard facts await....
