So many years standing
This medieval castle
Crusader fortress

This fortress was made a World Heritage Site in 2006. The fortress is one

Between the sun and moon
you come to transcend
the frescoes on the sky
for a lost chance.

It fuels the anxiety.
When do I meet you
in dark to explore the
lightning rod.

The inside enemy will
allude to self-immolation.
Where will end the
agony of man ?

The carnage continues
unabated. The crowds are thinning.
Lurking men on fimbriae dump the veils.

On sundial shadows
Hiding brushwork colors
Of stars illuminated
Brilliant oils mixed creation
Friendship fluid
On sanguine brooks
Glassy rippled wind song
Mirroring my many faces
In my portrait halls
I cannot canvas my eyes
Intrinsic façade alone
My stroke is guided
From a greater talent
When allowed
Frescoes my darkness
Furtively it brings to be
Despite obvious failing
Of laboring phases
A vision of me…
Fettered and fading...
