I’m with family; we’re younger, vibrant, laughing; through another door, I run to a lover’s arms. . . free reign in Time’s passageways

Premium Member Heavenly Nevermore
The sun has learned
to nevermore interfere

with the moon
and its stars

To give it a whole world
because the sun

doesn't need to stand in the way,
when it has free reign
of the entire universe....

Premium Member Play On Words
Thoughts of death.
Life roulette.

Play with fire.
With ones desire.

Beyond the norm.
Not to conform.

Quiet, Talk.
Quick-witted, jabberwock.

Past, present.
future judgement.

Chained domain.
Free reign.

Love to hate.
Soul checkmate....

Premium Member Not the Nieman Marcus
Erik was incredulous.
He was twenty-eight, a neonate in the fashion world.
You are sure they said Nieman Marcus?
His wife smiled at him.
THE Nieman Marcus?
I guess so.
He was given free reign.
Youngest photographer to ever work for the Nieman Marcus.
Erik Madigan Heck, my friend....

It's the Twenty Fourth of May
It’s the twenty fourth of May
And we want to get away,
But Covid and our governments
Say we’d better stay away
From up at our cabins and stay
Bored at home each day.

So, we’ll stay at home and play
Board games…drink our ice cold beers
And give the Moose and big black bears
Free reign on our cabins for
This year and who knows …maybe next…
And how many more?

Premium Member Free Will But Is It Free
I don’t know where to begin
How I can reach someone if they don’t want to be reached?
That is God’s dilemma
God gives man free will
They can do whatever they’d like
Without restraining
Without interfering
Until one day
The day of destruction
Then one will wake up
And come to one’s senses
God lets man walk with free reign
But is it free?
Or does man need God’s guidance
Wisdom, power, choices?
You decide...

Premium Member Innocent Slips
Innocent Slips By: Miracle Man 2/14/2021 Sometimes even the smallest things in life, often weigh heaviest on one’s mind. Innocent slips that can cut like a knife, when another was trying to be unkind. These thoughts re-birthed, in mind will stay, in some dusty corner of psyche’s domain. It’s from these thoughts our mind won’t stray, they always return, as if given free reign.

Premium Member Hunted
Their wings get clipped
their tails get tied
with nets restrained
ensnared
horns cut off,
left for dead…

The hunters became the hunted
for their horns,
for their skin
all in the name of greed,
earth’s balance thrown off keel…

Humans invaded their territory
their free reign taken away,
chased out of their habitat
in the cycle of life,
their survival became unsure
their possible extinction a harsh reality…...

Premium Member Don'T Blame the Quiche Lorraine
Sleep I can’t feign. I hear the falling rain
tapping a refrain on the window pane.
My throbbing pain recedes and I obtain
relief from the migraine which had free reign
like a freight train, a cause for mental strain.
Drat the champagne! Don’t blame the quiche Lorraine.

Premium Member Free Reign
Racing for shelter, we defy the rain, our hearts a-song
The heavens open, we slosh, slide and splash along
Shaking our hair, water everywhere, we are free
To laugh, to live, to love, to be ourselves finally

Drenched to the marrow, we no longer care
We're alive now, soaked but thriving in downpour's air
We see who we are, the water's washed away our veneer
Baring exultant, triumphant souls, who passion's perils now dare...

Premium Member Sequestered Thoughts
Sequestered Thoughts Written: By Tom Wright 8-10-2019 I sequestered some thoughts today at dawning, Other days I’ve allowed these thoughts free reign. But today, I’ve a tendency, to sit here yawning, Nothing worthy escapes though I rack my brain. Perhaps its a temporary psychological block, Because the hour of night, has now grown pale. Or the interrupting chime of our grandfather clock, But most likely, It’s just that my thoughts are stale.

Premium Member You Are Not Reigning But He Is
If I turn over to the Lord
Does that mean I give up?
Yes that is just it
You are giving up on your power
On your free will to reign
Because you are not reigning
But He is
So there giving up on your ability
Your magnificent super hand
And let Him be the One with the power
With the free reign
With the Incredible Hand
For yours are not
Not for a second
Not for any time
Not for anyhow
So there
Suck up
You are defeated my friend
Give the reign over
To the Irrefutable One
To the Matchless One...
