Walk along the ridges,
Pay for your pretty bridges,
Subsist in subsistence
Regard me without difference
I am a stow-away forgetfulness
Time heals and destroys;
such a suttle of caregiver
brings forgetfulness
demonically toxic
paradoxical monster.
life experience is...
concepts and ideas
close-calls
and forgetfulness
gods and heavens are...
recall
pattern
beliefs
if...eternity is real now
This is the most useful spell in the universe,
You can will a person to forget,
You and the trouble passes.
A simple wave of the hand,
And they let you pass.

Remember God
Forgetfulness can devastate mankind.
Especially when leaders
forget that God made all….

Oh no!! I forgot –
I had a plate of dessert
In the cool freezer
Oh no!! Dad forgot –
He left his blue bowl of fruit
On the clean counter!
Form:
Inspiration,
enemy of sleep,
I to my desk at midnight
remember, remember.
Forgetfulness,
enemy of age,
remember, remember,
forty yards to my PC.

Forgetfulness is more than a habit with me
I work hard at it, trying not to remember
[or use up my limited memory]
on facts I can Google!
written June 11, 2021
doubting pillows, beneath my head rest
unsure of their man-made softness
under my mind, questions crest
conversing with my thoughts
eyes decide to quest
seeking only
reminders
forget
not
After forever
footsteps wash gently
from the sand
each grain
a sacred moment
straining to touch
a sunset
adrift
in an abyss
of adarkening
forgetfulness.

An endless dream,
Created by me during my life,
Full of peopled worlds,
And created yellows,
But if life was richness,
And forgetfulness emptiness,
What happens when we remember our worst nightmare?
Form:
Stone homes of ancient memories
Sentinels sleeping under white
Locked in a fading breath
Of the long lost keeper.
Life trapped in timeless glass
Glimpsed amid weathering bones
Outlining the ways of forgetfulness.
Nostalgic--
Life has been
like riding fiery waves
in the belly of the beast—
Memories of my rusty old past
hanging somewhere on the fringe
of disbelief and forgetfulness…
Never to be re-told in truth or sequence.

IN OUR YOUTH
WE HAD SUCH FUN
WE PLAYED HARD AND ROUGH
WE GREW WITH THEM
WE AGED WITH TIME
WE AGED FROM WEAR
TO PART WITH THEM
WOULD NOT BE FAIR
AGE AND WEAR
HAVE CHANGED US SO
BUT EVEN WITH THE FORGETFULNESS OF TIME AND AGE
WE REMEMBER THOUGH
Without a sense of mystery
Life is without magic
Without curiosity
Life is without novelty
Without love
Life is without joy
Without uncertainty
Life is without conviction
Without forgetfulness
Life is without realization

Oh dear! Oh dear! What is this?
Something seems to be amiss
Before so sure was I
But now am left to wonder why
For what compelled my short sojourn
Has left me now in but a turn
For in the span from there to here
All thought for naught has disappeared
For too long your feet
alter to a bloody mess.
Tired of having one
gory pulp inside your shoes,
you yearn to have a
little of forgetfulness.
Since for real stopping
isn't feasible ever.
Go to where all the pictures
are greasy, and get some peace.
you write and write until
you take off onto your orbit to await your birth,
death,
or love,
to face your gods,
obey like a blind man,
to say your prayer: thank you, God, thank you for being so good to me
and blessing me with a certain amount of forgetfulness
What good is a tower
That tower's so high
If built by the hand's
Of indifference
Forged with the steel
Of forgetfulness,
That which last a thousand
Years',
Oh, Mighty Tower
You tower so high
But your stained windows'
Conceal your brightness
Within
GF
GOLDEN YEARS (triple Haiku)
and where to from here?
see those gray mists gathering
questions answered soon
oh! So many years
why? ‘twas only yesterday
same eyes looking out
where has the time gone?
forgetfulness is soothing
but where to from here?
I dream of what will be,
What is for thee,
To behold the beauty,
The sky at night,
What will be for thee,
All round me I see,
The light from dreams,
born to the void of forgetfulness,
Light from within that once burn bright,
Now lies beyond the realm of lost dreams.
Beyond the wee-filled hollow…
A silver-dancing stream, is found
Washing the trembling stones
Along, the cool banks of forgetfulness…
Willow walked the beaten trail,
Warm tears stained her wind-struck face
As rain, drawn by the remains of a forgotten love...
What Is A Memory

Memories, are mere shadows of the former.
Past tensed matters that have risen temporally,
above forgetfulness.
Moments that rest in mind’s corners,
and like Unabated wind, they exist,
until snatched by time.
Peace is the presence here
Our deepest longing and fear
So noisy thoughts and shouldfulness
Yield a cover of forgetfulness
When we forget the striving
The cunning and conniving
Release judgment and resent
Then peace is our present.

absorbed in contemplation
wherein time disappears
save by the alarm clock ringing
we cannot return to this world
to perform the chores we need to do
or have so decided to undertake
call it forgetfulness
or a priority shift
we now activate
timer on our phone
otherwise the eggs will over boil
