We Keep Our Broken Toys

IN OUR YOUTH
WE HAD SUCH FUN
WE PLAYED HARD AND ROUGH
WE GREW WITH THEM

WE AGED WITH TIME
WE AGED FROM WEAR
TO PART WITH THEM
WOULD NOT BE FAIR

AGE AND WEAR
HAVE CHANGED US SO
BUT EVEN WITH THE FORGETFULNESS OF TIME AND AGE
WE REMEMBER THOUGH

I think my mom threw mine away. Wish I could find the old troll dolls!!! They were not even broken and she still threw them out!
