Its scent a mixture
of the mud
Made by droplets of
Lifeblood
Sparse in parts of
Mother earth
As foretold
A day of rain
is coming
coming a long way
sometimes a one-way road
keeping to this path
as the future is foretold
bridges we construct
as we connect our minds
forged with truth and trust
as this road continually winds
