Persuader inside me
dark sweetness cajoling
A talisman dangles
—the present foretold
(Las Vegas: January, 2016)
a tortured soul
has lost it's hold
on body
and a mind
as years foretold
of wintry cold
so sorry
I'm inclined to be
-unkind
and suddenly darkness crept up
with an eerie november sky
~ a sign of things to come

Persuader inside me
dark sweetness cajoling
A talisman dangles
—the present foretold
(Las Vegas Nevada: January, 2016)
on that autumn night
the moon foretold the harvest
walking hand in hand
we rejoiced at each red leaf
moments in life so precious
Clouds hovered
the sky wept
grief as thunder rolled
Ripping the sky
lightning warned
—prophecy foretold
(Dreamsleep: July, 2022)
Reviewing the Scriptures of old
God knew what should not be foretold
But we must confess
Mankind could care less
We want to know who gets the gold
Forbidden lipstick;
Detrimental to the soul
Powerful than any sword
A near death foretold;
Changes in lifestyle took place
Thanks to God's amazing grace
Foretold mortal
a modern age
mortal man
like I
think wired cable
standing
some moving
some seen
sun beam
sun screen
from now on
remember before I die
TECHNOLOGY has finally overcome STORYBOOKS;
psychic VISIONS and scientists have foretold.
COUSIN prefers these new-fangled technologies;
it's a tiny book stronghold.
The day you
discover
that it’s you
who makes it all right
Is the day you
uncover
what destiny holds true
— and prophecy foretold
(Villanova University: March, 2025)
The hot rain was pregnant with moisture
Atmosphere foretold thunderstorm
Animals began to hide
Burrowing into earth
Crouching under bush
Slipping in holes
Tunneling
Hiding
Safe
Slowly we travel down this ancient road
to a destination long ago foretold.
The path is long and narrow
with darkness on every side.
Stray not O' Wayward one
or you will surely die.
Uncharted path leads me to nights cold
Till winged breeze chants of hope foretold.

Have a great birthday, Brother Jess,
People enter into the fold;
Men see the Church's rapid progress,
For God fulfills what He's foretold.

A summer day gone cold
She left my life today
This I could not have foretold
There is not a word I can say
That will bring her back to this day
Farewell my dear
This very moment I did fear
A beauty foretold the future....she said I shall set you free.....
So you can see.....Beauty loves everything....even what seems ugly....has promises of kisses and gentle kindness...to guide us all

Clearly you see the darkness shadowed light stream still
Foretold is your future memories in stories they reveal
Ancestors inheritors legacies in the wind
Today is forever clearly you see the end
I believed at the time of my youth,
that clairvoyants predicted the truth.
A soothsayer foretold
that my life would be gold.
He was wrong with his asinine sooth!
Listen to poem:
Rian on Rain
By David J Walker
Only in the distance
Its scent a mixture
of the mud
Made by droplets of
Lifeblood
Sparse in parts of
Mother earth
As foretold
A day of rain
is coming
coming a long way
sometimes a one-way road
keeping to this path
as the future is foretold
bridges we construct
as we connect our minds
forged with truth and trust
as this road continually winds
Pastel dreams of yesteryear
Smile and don’t shed a tear
Strength for you foretold
Days together will not get old
Crystal clear can’t you see
Know that your memories are free.

I could have been a golfer
If I listened to my coaches
Who foretold it
But what sheer talent cant buy
Is the hours put bye
Bye those who try
And end up succeeding
Because talent early
Is so often misleading
How Much is Joy ?
More than the value of gold
young and old
behold !
we all need joy, uphold
joyous and bold
joy-foretold
whether hot or cold
we need love, peace, joy ; threefold.

she gazed
i forgot to
shave into
my hairy
ball's
she said
i see
i see
it's fuzzy
and blurred
something
lovingly
unheard
almost
absurd
rasp
berry
pancakes
with a honey
a sweet syruppy thing
