Autumn leaves tremble
passion has waned sans color
floods diluted fall

You set fire to the rain
Hate floods your veins
It’s your diction
It’s your affliction
It’s your addiction

protects against

Emotions flow like mountain rain
Releasing floods that still remain
Upward peaks to the depths below
