flitter flutter floozy flood
fluent flowing in forever mud
flummadiddle fairy, frenzy flowing
Where is all this featherheaded foolishness going?
A carpet of orange dresses the ground,
trees growing bare as leaves flitter down,
nip in the air tells of stark days to come,
but not now at least, the Fall isn’t done.
Cal Flitter dumps litter in haste,
Ms Witherspoon savors the taste
of fast food, she'll throw
trash out her window.
Cal or Reese are just bad for the waste.

seagulls' wings flitter
wild waves hustle into cliffs ~
jazzing tropic sun
~
shaggy mangroves sway
ivory clouds twist and twirl~
waltzing 'neath June sky

christmas tree on curb
spruce needles, dry, brown
here, there, ornament
broken, on branch
tinsel strands flitter
in cold New Years wind
soon, city truck
department of sanitation
come and carry, take away
Tiny but mighty
Moving as if deranged
Their lunacy delights
Madness unhinged
Zipping and zinging
Slivers of tiny bits of lightning
They flick and flitter
Glittering in a way only fireflies can
I chase them with my ready jar
Silently they flitter here and there,
their intermittent beacons
calling out a mate.
Chased gleefully by
children in the dark.
Carefully placed in a mason jar.
Observed closely by young eyes
then gently released into the grass.
There's 86,400 seconds in every day and not even one to loose
Make the most of each one you're given, however you wish to choose
Flitter them away
Like kiddies at play
Be ready for the unexpected, simple things that light your fuse
Feeders
Are filled with, the most tasty food
The chickadees flitter
Everywhere
Happy
They eat
Food from the ground
Emptied out of the dish
They dance around from tree to tree
Well fed.

The icy feather flakes flitter hush--
swirl free to sprawl on midnight mush.

I have these beautiful tiny birds flying around when my flowers are in bloom;
they are magical to watch.
There's 86,400 seconds in every day and not even one to loose
Make the most of each one you're given, however you wish to choose
Flitter them away
Like kiddies at play
Be ready for the unexpected, simple things that light your fuse

Delicate as silken lace
Floating with elegant grace
Upon the gentle breeze
Soaring with seeming ease
Golden speckle amidst black
Aqua stripes down your back
Beauty of color splayed wings
Simple joy watching brings
Delighting the human eye
As you flitter and flutter by
Tinker's wand like glitter bomb
Leaves sparkle and twinkle waste
All over the place.
Glints that arise from the deep blue sea
To ride as litter on ripple crests
Shimmering sea of fairy lights.
Jitter bug's bitter slug with glitter
Makes seascape an embittered blinding emitter.
Bursting buds unfurl the flushing fresco of flower
Weaving lattice of grandeur on mesmeric meadow
Fluorescent butterflies flitter in sunburst shower
Vista of beguiling beauty framed on my window.

Incessant longings sail on my ocean of tears,
The thoughts of you lingering,
the loss of you sears the heart like the branding of an ox.
Reading back the memories, like reading from the end
to the beginning of a pocketbook,
Pictures flitter beckoning the past, but alas,
You already have moved on.
Fantastic fabulous frisky faeries flitter forever
Luxuriously loving lady-like likeable lilies
Obliterating outgoing outlandish ostentatious orchid
Wonderful whimsical warmhearted warlock wiggles wind
Effervescent ebullient elegant elves eagerly expedite Echinacea
Relieved rambunctious radiant roses replenishes rakish Rudbeckia
Whenever I walk inside I feel at home;
enraptured, from shelf to shelf I roam
till a book catches my eye
as I flitter by
smell sends me
high
rapidly
while senses comply
inner needs to satisfy,
like a bee that sips a honeycomb...
whenever I walk inside I feel at home.

Is she more magical because she is pink?
I have no idea, but it makes sense as pink stands for love.
Pink brings innocence and sincerity into the equation.
I flitter around looking for the pink faerie.
She is elusive, but I hear her tittering.
I see a garden of carnations, but do not enter it.
If she wants to show herself, she will.
Forcing faeries is never a good idea.
Oh, it’s thrilling to hear trilling
As I sit out in the shade.
All that tweeting that’s repeating
Is the reason I have stayed.
For I’m betting that the sweating
To which humankind is prone
Has no meaning to convening
Birds on branches where they’ve flown.
Such sweet twitter as they flitter
Or sit warbling in trees
Makes me giddy; it’s so pretty
That it puts my mind at ease.
Cool water washing over my feet
ocean glistening where sky does meet
soft sand sifting through my toes
fresh sea breeze scents up my nose
tiny little treasures hidden in the sand
warmth of the sun giving life to the land
swallows dancing with joy in the sky
enjoying the sun as they flitter and fly
butterflies emerging in the warmth of the day
new life begins as they fly on their way.
The light is gone trapped behind gray clouds
Dull are the leaves as they flitter down
Damp is the air on the cold fall breeze
Scarce is the chatter of birds from the trees
Few are the pears hanging still
On most nights they are deeply chilled
But rose determined and strong
On the trellis it blooms right along..

"About This Poem"
Is heaven a place where flowers always bloom?
Where fruit is delectably sweet,
And birds flitter in a celestial ballroom?
Is heaven a jewel crested mountain,
With silvery wispy clouds,
Raining ambrosial nectar,
From a majestic crystal fountain?
Is heaven the sounds of,
Beethoven, Brahms and Nat King Cole,
Or, is heaven not a thing,
But a aspiration that lives in the,
Chasm of one’s soul?
Flitter paired wings
...jasmine winds
aft flaxed sunsets
...melodic dewdrops
Arise freely...prance
mirages of alabaster
third heaven-eternal abode
...rest sweetly Mama
whisper sweetly Daddy
sing firmament lullaby
...asteroid rhapsody
missing butterflies cry
softly days woebegone
lighten my dark tears.
