Fragile Crickets
A thousand fragile crickets
mindlessly lost in dreams and song.
Swollen with dark intrinsic fevers
in a place where well kept secrets crouch....

Tongue Twister
Standing still, she smells so sweet,

tongues tickle tonsils, this trying treat.

Fevers flourish, fantasies flew,

better.....breath.......because.......becoming............blue....

Premium Member Feckless Forest Faeries
Feckless forest faeries faintly frolicking for fiddling foundlings.
Morose mortals merrily mixing meager mushroom munchies
Fantastical fey forever feeds frenzied fevers following forest firs
Chattanooga chirps, cheeps, chattering chipmunks, chewing crunchies....

Buried Silently
Electrical passion fevers
pleasures painful heart.
Graphic nature plays fiddles
upon strings of foreplay.

Mercies infatuation dies
glancing at stolen love.
Visions blur upon remembrance
of yesterdays torture.

As you bury our love
in silent graves of murder....

Mom's Kitchen
No memory of visiting a doctor in my childhood
                  Cuts or wounds,
                  pains or fevers,
                  digestion or indigestion...
My mom’s kitchen could answer all.

Stress
I’m sick.
I’ve been sick.
Sick for days,
For months,
For years.

I’m tired,
And lethargic.
My eyes are weary.
I have a permanently hunched back, now.

The aching,
The spasming.
The fevers,
The shivers.
It’s a never-ending cycle.

And it’s all self-imposed.
Because,
I perform best
When I’m stressed....

Inside Evil
I’m fighting myself,
Myself within,
I can’t break free,
It’s pulling me in,

I forged my potion,
Now I’m binned and cursed,
If I turn away,
Would I free the thirst,

The evil within,
Craving possession and sin,
It haunts my ghost,
And fevers my skin,

I feel the horror,
Shadowed deep inside,
My soul is darkened,
From Jekyll to Hyde....

Covid-19
China reaches out for power
Over land and across the seas
Raging fevers crush the flowers
Of fragile weak humanity
Nothing known can quell the wake
As ripples drown the soul
Visions of this tragic fate
Interred as church bells toll
Rest for those no longer living
Under a blanket of broken sod
Sins without forgiving.. left to the will of God...

Living Truth
When the wind blows in,
total view is upon us.
No cloud is in sight,
sun drifts low.
Colours everywhere,
bright angels around,
birds flapping their farewell fevers,
paying no attention to our movement.
Slowly towards the seafront,
opens the gate for eternal freedom.

Never look back,
never look back.

Nor take our eyes away from this moment,
because right here forever,
we will stay....

Dollface
Her eyes whispered in carnal tones

Passion hustling across her tongue

How her soft breath sexes my bones

Hushed an ophidian had sprung

Her skin beheld a subtle spark

Emitting a glow of temptation

To this cadence languid I hark

In lucid fevers of elation

Flushed be her beloved cheeks

Tantamount yet quite divine

'Twas a lovely sight to seek

Upon my lips peaked was a sign...

Dreaming Wheel Forbidden Desire
you on one shore
I, on another
range is vast,
surrounded by fens.
furious boiling men
loaded with guns
do you hear my heartache
ooh here you come
bold and fierce warrior
take me away and all
burn away my fevers,insecurities
save me from devil's foot
may i lean on your faithful arms
show me midnight,
dawn's wind blowing around
feeling grass and sand
your gentle touch
sound of the ocean
whispering sighs
its a Wonder Wheel...

I Cannot Believe It
Mask Up, Vaccine now.
Do not go near each other.
You are not allowed.

Stand apart.
Do not play together.
Do not get sick, it will break my heart.

Yet you did everything.
Followed the rules.
That pandemic truly stings.

Made you so very sick.
High fevers.
Came on so quick.

You are so very strong.
Determined, young.
Let's pray nothing goes wrong.

I cannot believe it.
You do everything they say.
There is no reason you are very sick....

Mom a Faded Memory
Oh! sometimes in the snowy
mist of my dreams.
I see you mom.
I know way back then.
You were unhappy.
The clean house
The perfect smile.
The pearls on your neck.
The imperfect marriage.
I know you had to leave him.
Your heart was too empty
Too vacant to carry on.
But what did I do mom?.
All I wanted was your
Kiss goodnight.
Your soft lips
cooling my fevers.
I miss you mom.
But I hope you found
Your place of sweetness.
I know I am still looking
For mine....

Cypress Evening
Cypress ‘knee's’ lap in the light
as dusk wades in.

Evening parachutes down,
it plants shallow pother
around ankle-deep trunks.

Anhinga necks stir shadows
under a low moon.
This is the gurgling gills
of a melting evening.

Florida ends at every lakeshore
where night-fevers begin.
A heated gloom that thickens
where bugs quicken.

We are locked into the chaffing songs
of crickets,
the drilling buzz of mosquitoes,
as cypress roots soak
in the dark dank air....
