Toilet tissue is like the starship
Enterprise in that they both slip
Around Uranus
And zip up heinous
Klingons to ferry on a trip

Leaning on the rail,
Clasping a clutch bag of dreams.
Sea spray blends with tears.
Propellers churn memories,
Of Love betrayed and submerged.

Terry and His Ferry

There was a man called Terry
Who captained his own Ferry
When his ship hit a rock
He recovered from the shock
Drinking a bottle of Sherry.

Ferry crossing

The ocean
Gave a gift to me
A coin for passage
Across the sea
To pay the ferryman
Should I need to cross
To light the lanterns
So I won't
Get lost

Ferry and Lovers

it was hugs and stugs
at night under the moon light
as ferry cruise
its lke good news
kiss and did all this
nothing miss
love one one anuther
we on a tirp that dip
FERRY LOVERS

The Ferry

Everyone is sleeping,
As we glide across the lake towards home.
The shore line, glows in the distance.
The engine hums below the water.
And somehow I am captivated,
By the beauty of a single moment.

No Lie

I’m out by the river
And this is the truth:
A boat sailed on by
That was named for a tooth.

The name was so cute
That it made me feel merry.
Come on, take a guess -
Yes, it was the Tooth Ferry!

Nailed

Follicking Rollicking Roch your world
Tallicking Tallying Tok for tale
Fock it and rock it and make it fail
Frock it and bawk it and make no shail

Ferry it and mock it
and pace what ail
Hope it and frot'h it
and fate be nailed

Premium Member Tickle His Ear Next

Tickle his ear next Larry Harry the giant roach’s brother said.
Make it good, wake him up, shake him up, make his face red.
Jerry Ferry did his best to tease the elfin man awake.
But this elf had already slept through a tornado and earthquake.

On My Bench

People amble, stroll or strut
To get some air or maybe
To do some chores or kill some time
Or walk with a new baby.

Still, others jog or run as fast
As feet allow (that’s very!),
Perhaps for exercise, but likely
Just to catch the ferry.

Contrary Mary

Contrary Mary

There once was a boat named “Mary”
She towed many a barge as a ferry.
One day she was mad.
She groaned; she was bad.
And that's why the folks call her, "Contrary.”

Wormhole labyrinths bored beneath congested streets where trains ferry poor people into the dark abyss, time weighing heavy on their minds. (Wayra) 08,16, 2019 SECOND EDITION OF WAYRA Poetry Contest Sponsored by: nette onclaud

When You Open It

When you open it

 When you open your heart
 I hold your steps

When you open your eyes I
 See the Ray's of dreams

 When you open your tales
 Of ferry ....
 When you open your feelings
 You will find a gift

A Drowned Sailor Sings To His Narwhal

Narwhal of antartic deep, trusty
heart my soul to reap, ferry last
my wet cold skin, cross the river
Styx of sin

And if you ask of me now gone,
enquiring where my light has shone,
speak them with salt-sea’s romance,
“He’s gone to prance the Narwhal’s
dance”

Last Fairy Princesss

Maria
The last of the ferry princesses
In middle earth
Was dancing in the forest
Dancing up a storm

When she saw Sam watching her
Love flew between them
She bewitched his soul

And he became her love slave
Until the end of time
Ended their doomed love affair.

Spoken Wings

Saying goodbye,
demanding a kiss,
I set the letters free

To romp and play,
and ferry away,
 impossibility

Calling their names,
a farewell to arms,
 on spoken wings they go

Fond memory smiles
to last the while
—the future theirs to know

Out To Sea

New York City
sparkles in the sunshine
four minute ferry ride
too fast too fast
wish I owned a sailboat to to under bridges up to West Point
Linger in the bay
a long slow aimless journey
along the mighty Hudson round the bend then
to see the city
from Henry Hudson vision
out to sea

Devours the ferry
Roars in agony
Devil’s symphony

The Force! The Force!
No Coda yet for Me!
Ooh! Scary it may Be!

A Horse! A Horse!
Then Yoda said to Me...
"Mmm, Wary you should Be!"

The Course? The Course?
No Soda Can to Sea?
"Mmm, Ferry not for Me!"

Brute Force! Brute Force!
Will Chewy go with Thee?
"Mmm, Hairy, not for Me!
