On My Bench

People amble, stroll or strut
To get some air or maybe
To do some chores or kill some time
Or walk with a new baby.

Still, others jog or run as fast
As feet allow (that’s very!),
Perhaps for exercise, but likely
Just to catch the ferry.

I really like this cute little ditty about watching people as they pass you by while sitting on a nice bench in the park or by your house. I like to walk my dogs in different areas just to see something new. Perhaps see squirrels or bunnies hopping about. I'm a nature a lover. Nice job here. God Bless JB

Well-written, concise commentary on those everyday people doing everyday things, Ilene. Of such is life! Janice

Everyday, mundane things take on a new meaning in your verses, Ilene. Not sure how you manage to do that, but you successfully do!

I love to read your observations of daily life, and the witty imagery of them running to catch the ferry lol:-) hugs Jan xx
