Trump Junior
It's all about family ties why junior unceasingly lies about his alleged collusion. The Truth points to one conclusion and millions will no doubt agree "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Waking Thoughts
Sad ness and glad ness
Filling my eyes
Good ness and bad ness
Mixed up in lies
Sweet ness and sour ness
Family ties
Feelings uncertain to lean on at all
Dizzily certainly ready to fall
Who can one ask if it’s
Worth it at all...

Family Ties
Scratch
but not sniff.

Such exile
undoubtedly
Tickles my fancy.

Until I gave
birth to insanity.

Without surrender
and freshness we
can only desert
familiarity.

Intimacy
Intimacy

Love
bonded
amid man
understanding
perpetuating relationships, love.

Close relatives, heartfelt family ties.
woven through hearts
reflecting
oneness
life.

BIG SISTER
You were big sis
Who was full of fire
With large sparks
Of life, you loved and
Lived life to the fullest
You could have been
A comedian with your
Constant jokes and laughter
But you were taken away
From me, like a thief
In the night, never to return

I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfection.
Excellence I can reach for; perfection is God’s business.

outside the fire
you go left
not from fear, but roots
that stretch far beyond
the reach of family ties

inside the fire
I go right
and pray our heirs
find the wisdom of savants
much more to their liking

these sides have risen
a gap has been formed
the wedge between us
cries out for breast milk...

Family Ties
Hold my hand and dust me off.
Cry my tears and think my thoughts.
You see my faults yet trust my soul.
Teach as I grow as I was your own.
We’ve shared some times and fought years too.
Making a promise, to stick like glue.
Just being my brother, sister or mother.
Has made life dreamy wouldn’t trade it for another....

Christmas is love, my friend,
Happiness does easily blend
Rejuvenating our family ties
Inviting all to the table
Singing of the holy stable,
The manger, where Jesus lay
Mary, His mother most holy,
As God gives His love wholly
Still available in these chaotic days.

Blind Sex
Some say my cousin got around
passing on his bloodline
young and wild with a strong esteem
no matter who it was

Shame his bloodline has family ties
one was his sister Jean
his Pop's found out, boy what a scene
now I know why he's blind

Sad eyes on a happy face
All alone, in a crowded place
Welcome to the other side
Of me

Money rich, but poor in spirit
Many ears, not one, could hear it
This is what my life has
To be

Rising up, while sinking farther
Destined to be, my own Martyr
This is what my eyes, choose
To see

With wealth, fame, and family ties
Living an unending lie
I will end this, painful
Fantasy...

Lonely
With tear-filled eyes and arm in arm,
love surged without Suppression.

The future held no certain tale.
So noble was the session.

Family ties screamed out in anguish,
challenged by great powers.

Reached out for reasons to extend
the life of fading hours.

Goodbye, at last those dreadful words
would force their threat upon me.

Eye to eye thinking only,

Lonely!
Lonely!
Lonely!...

The waves took our memories
And washed them out to sea
When bitter truth was spoken
In words you didn’t want to be
Revealed like a shell on a beach
As I spoke and chose to beseech
You left like the tide, in your retreat
After fighting on ground, we couldn’t meet
You stayed in a life tangled by lies
I stood alone, where the seagull flies
Where pain cut the years of family ties

Sister Act
What can I say about my sisters?
Are they a thorn in the side, like blisters?
Or my oldest friends, indeed,
Always mentors in time of need,
The family ties that bind,
Ever ready to say "Never mind",
We look alike, but think apart,
Oldest friends from times long past,
"Older ladies', we've ripened,
Can't buy sisters with a stipend,
Are sisters thorns in the sides like blisters?
No, you cannot buy my sisters!...

Family is all but gone
A sad lost song
Mothers brothers sisters
Friends all gone
Here I am alone
Looking for a link
The more alone
The deeper I sink
And why I ask
For me
What did I do
To suffer such loss
I fear a curse against
My blood
Has sunk my
Family ties
No one to protect
Or be more wise
Good by my dead
Souls and family
I wish it wasn’t so
But when a soul
Is called it must surely go

Listen to poem:
Bring in the din of children's cries
    the kin of family ties
the chagrin of forgiven woe betides.
Let in the breeze of summer skies
    the wherein where laughter resides
the grin of warm welcoming smiles.
Dial in the joys of compromises
    that the peacemaker devises
to hide all conflicts with disguises.
Ring in the calls to claim the prizes.

'All In' for all is the call,
which harmonizes....

Familiarity
in garden of contented sighs
beneath a bridge of family ties
Time flows gently through the rows
of loving constant care
here seeds swell to burst to pose
as beauty grows aware

Partaking in heart aching words
of loss and sad despair
seeking love I pause and find
some gentle comfort there
I tense and sense
a hug so kind
a tug
I feel myself unwind
in sweet repose the scent of rose
has opened in my mind...

Premium Member A Picture
Here you are again…
Your photo staring at me
Unexpected to find
Making me wish, I was blind
A rumble of feelings
Stir like loud thunder
Shaking my soul
From broken roots, of family ties
The memories crash,
Like shattered glass
Piercing my soul
As I plod through the past
Into the present moment
All the while, the picture haunts
Like a ghost that just returned
But in reality, never leaves

I Want To Be Good
I want to be good
but know I seldom am.

like a child at play in the garden
and then trailing dirt into the kitchen.

July rain soften life's drone
dusky sky canvasses the light
i plough, ox-like, at the task of the day
I want to be good
but know I seldom am.

Thoughts of kindness flit like butterflies
battle surface smiles and boredom lines
ponder family ties beyond choice
I want to be good
but know I seldom am....

I Got Nothing
I haven't written anything in awhile.
I don't have any muse.
My life is in tatters and I don't have anything to hold on to.
My grades are good, but all my friends have left.
My path through life is lonely again.
The depression is worse, therapy isn't much help.
Family ties grow colder, somtimes parents can't stay sober.
And all I can do is shares my pains with a community of strangers.
Sorry guys, but I guess I'm just gone....

Spit fire and spin honey,
the target-a wealthy man and his money.

She has no other talent that qualifies,
just the sum of what quantifies.

She's got cause and family ties,
under the guise of friendship and lies.

Depending on time to line her pockets,
she waits like a spider to sign the dockets.

The honey it dries,
the old man dies.

It evokes such pain and indifference,
targets of especial sentimental significance"....

     Prom dresses that ever dance
Within love the flowed from grandma's hands

Unique reminders

Born To Fly Or Surfing Leaf
Shoulders hunched skittering tiptoe on ice polished tarmac.
Racing down wind in tumble roll effort to rise.
Then rising in stem keeled soar of caught breeze
To sail in free wheeling swirl
Hanging ten on invisible wavering air currents
Laughing at still tied comrades all in fluttering applause
While below a hundred others huddle
Waiting for a big one in cold November sun
A few scuttle away to hide in comforting bushes
Reliving memories of safer family ties...

Selfish Employment
Once I was an alien
because of family ties
Once I was a sailor man
Told recruitment lies
Now I am a veteran
with socialized security
A part time postal carrier
With attitude and purity
I subsidize my poverty
By working for myself
In sickness and in health
I am earthbound as an autumn leaf
Blazing colors oh so brief
Twisting madly in the sun
Looking back at what's begun
listing badly misting sadly
hit a reef and come to grief
Closed up again
Just lost a friend...
