Seeking Peace

Sad eyes on a happy face
All alone, in a crowded place
Welcome to the other side
Of me

Money rich, but poor in spirit
Many ears, not one, could hear it
This is what my life has
To be

Rising up, while sinking farther
Destined to be, my own Martyr
This is what my eyes, choose
To see

With wealth, fame, and family ties
Living an unending lie
I will end this, painful
Fantasy

Suicide is more common the most people think, I've been touched by it three times in my life. No one saw beyond the smiles, now I look everyone in the eyes. Robin Williams Had sad eyes, even when laughing. Put those dam meds, no one wants to talk about.

Is this for Robin Williams? His is a sad ending, hopefully it will not inspire others to follow his lead.

I see that many members write about depression in the first person, It's difficult to know if they are just being sympathetic or afflicted with this condition. It does make commenting on there work rather delicate.
