Rule 51
He whom Bares False Witness
Really isn't a witness at all
But a SCAB on the behind
             Of humanity!...

A false witness
Seldom goes unpunished,

So never profane
The name of a friend.

Guard your tongue
And choose your words,

Broken friendships
Sometime don't mend....

Bearing false witness, may or may not, condemn the accused

But would, unquestionably, condemn the soul of the accuser!

7 Things The Lord Hates
Haughty eyes,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood.

A heart that devises wicked schemes,
A mind that pursues wicked dreams

A false witness who pours out lies
And any man who stirs up strife....

'false Witness'
Religions embedded,
division commands
which savior, which heaven,
epistles in hand

Devotion to difference,
each split ever wide
one bible three meanings
—all preaching a lie

(Dreamsleep: October, 2021)...

Dark Itinerant
Wafting in the unmistakable scent
of poor choices
Grifting in the prodigal valley
of mistakes
Loitering in the tenement
of false witness
Wandering along the highway
—of forgotten dreams

(Dreamsleep: September, 2023)...

So Help Me God
My own self I wish to perjure,
And press the matter none the further
But all the lies I then must conjure!
One right after another...

So help me God, in sacred oath
No false-witness shall I bear
All Lies, all Truths- I tell them both!
I do, I solemnly swear!...

The Throne of Happiness
To the Throne of Happiness
I bow down to your Court

Your Grace

Surely you do not bear false witness to my accounts
My Lord

Ever have I induced to stay in your good graces

For I sweareth my utmost obedience to your whims
Your Majesty

Never shall I gainsay
Your Highness

And shall labor tirelessly
In defense of your Kingdom...

False Witness
It’s easy to judge another by color, size, speech
to file him away safely out of reach.
It’s easy to give thanks you’re not like him
whose chances for success you think are slim.
Some reach such a conclusion absent facts,
hence how they treat others is a falsity of acts.
We know nothing of another by looks alone,
for judgments so made we will have to atone....

Pretending to be the pure an innocent,

          a viper the mask hides.

In the absence of those to defending themselves,

          the more vigorously it swears.

Those that show too credulous favor to listen,

instead of being careful, to insist on sound validation.

No elixir or spell can cure,

only truly depends on first loving themselves.

Premium Member Stephen, Full of Grace
And Stephen, full of grace, performed great signs;
The Freedmen rose, disputed what he said.
Unable to withstand, they soon resigned;
They leveled claims of blasphemy instead.
They stirred up folks; the news, like wildfire, spread.

’Twas seized, brought ‘fore the council ‘gainst his will
Where witnesses bore testimony ill,
“Says Jesus will destroy this holy place,
Seeks to reverse what Moses has instilled!”
But Stephen bore a calm, angelic face.

Last Grave On the Left
At peace, of life bereft
in the last grave on the left
where wilting weed and musty bloom
cloud the legend on the tomb.
Words in chiselled grey
bear false witness every day;
acid rain a solemn screen
when every night was Halloween.
Thunderous drums roll near,
lightning jagged, forked and clear;
marching men and daily bread
echo sacrosanct and dead.
In plywood boxes my friends sleep
out of mind and buried deep;
pray for me throughout the fall,
the one who never sleeps at all…...

Prejudice
Beautiful ponder how you meander
in all constraints of unmeasurable tender
you are mine.
And I shall keep you close.

Panjandrum is not your domain
so bear no false witness my friend
for I know thee well my perpetual self.
Misunderstood as you are,
in love we shall pertain.
And I shall keep you close.

Make no sacrifice to past missed
nor give offering from here to eternity
for you owe nothing to the disdain of prejudice.
Only beauty will keep you.
And I shall keep you close....

My Love For You
My Love For You is like a river, like a

sweet summer breeze that makes my soul

shiver

My Love For You stretches further than the

sky, years from now we'll have children,

You and I

My Love For You catches every ones

attention because from now until eternity

our love will have no extension

My Love For You is like a star no matter

the distance you are who you are

Never let anyone bare false witness to you

because my deepest desire is "My Love For

You"...
