Joust Meloncholy
Such a grand memory I set aside,
Passing time in the French bucolic countryside
Passing lazy days away
Sipping sweet, sweet wine.

Lifting spirits, jousting melancholic ways
Experience expunging naivete
The Louvre, or the opera
Blessing a bravura shrine
Seeking serenity, here and now,

Erase
As a writer, I embrace,
To help me when I’m way off base,
A pencil with, in proper place,

Premium Member Spring Reigns
Remnants of Winters tendrils
reside upon the bare basalt cliffs.
Cornrows of ice cascade

When Listening To Her Heart Beating
When listening to her heart beat
I can hear the metronomic murmurs of string
and wind instruments blending
into a susurrous symphony
(expunging note upon note through my soul)
that goes from quiver to calm while pressed
against rhythms of her undulating breasts

the chorus harmonizes in whispered
reverberations “I love you” wrapping
each softly plucked chord around
my name that is parenthesized
in soothingly shaded tones of “mine”...

Premium Member Winter's White
Winter sheds Her dander upon a frigid breeze, releasing flakes of white. Like soft, feathery down, they silently settle on everything in sight. Ice crystals glittering in their dazzling splendor, set the landscape aglow. And Fall's fiery flames are extinguished overnight, by a blanket of snow. Winter's white whitewashes Autumn's leaf mosaics, expunging everything. And Her spic-and-span breath exhales a sterile clean; preparing all for Spring.
