Winter's White

Winter sheds Her dander upon a frigid breeze, releasing flakes of white. Like soft, feathery down, silent snowflakes settle on everything in sight. Winter's white, whitewashes Autumn's color palette, expunging everything. And Her blustery breath scatters the fallen leaves prepping the land for Spring. Ice crystals glittering in their dazzling splendor, set the land all aglow. And Fall's fiery flames are extinguished overnight: by a blanket of snow.

Thanks for letting me virtually behold winter through your poetic muse... since I live in a place bereft of winter season. I hope to "produce" one... imagining it, assisted by your examples you posted. God bless you.

Emile, new form in my database; I must try one as I am addicted to different forms. Very nice rendition of the significance of winter between fall and spring.
