I Exceeded Maturity
At A VERY Young Age
And There Ain't No Way
I'll EVER

Get It Back.

Moderation

Walk the line
All the time
Don’t do bad
Or be too glad

For moderation is needed
And your appetite not exceeded
These are the rules to live by
Go ahead and try.

A Bit Luny

To be proficient at writing limericks One must be a bit luny and thick as a brick Not absolutely needed But shouldn't be exceeded Else you'll be banished with one small click

Adhesive

it surrounds my heart
an easy feeling
bonding us together
love the adhesive
it's an absolute truth
between you and me
this road we're on
all limits exceeded
it's an abundant love
that we share

A Vibrant, Voracious Viewer

A Vibrant, Voracious Viewer

Remember being vibrant, voracious viewer,
Who of people and countries took a tour;
Many commented,
And even hinted,
Trump exceeded what they could endure.

Voices

velvet voices dance with vibrating violins
octaves often overreached, to
inoculate innocence in
children's choirs, our
expectations exceeded, our experiences
string us along, and strangles us subtly

Thanks

& I’m just so thankful that you’re all still around,
that I didn't burn all of my bridges right down,
that I haven't exceeded the times I'm allowed
to call you and tell you how simply the sound
of your voice through the years kept my feet on the ground.

Mothers Day

To a mother of two
Who always knew
Exactly what we needed
To a mother who cared
And was always there
Beyond boundaries her love exceeded

But for a mom to have
Two grateful sons
Could only be good karma
And good karma it is
For a son to have a mother
He can call "My Momma"

We Lucky Few

We who wore the blue
Who calmly stood hardy too
Answering the call when needed
Defeating evil when exceeded

We lucky few of sisters and brothers
Who leant a shoulder for each other
A band of friends each being true
As others wish they’d been with us too.

Silver Lining

I guess the silver lining
is that I learn humility
once more I forgive
and love falls at your feet
roping with your lariat
more than you'll ever need
what do you do with the excess?
when you tire of paying heed
when the sky is clear and cloudless
when your limit has been exceeded

Story Became an Allegory Horn Haiku

had heard a story
became an allegory
about Alimony

more poems are writing
you to read am inviting
both lips have been biting

Have exceeded my space
againso had to ad this to
this.

what we did was wave
had died at home of the brave
when we saw his grave

Joe we enjoy
for sure we would employ
being so showy

The Wind Whispers Forever

If you live your life fully, death approaches as a
   friend

If you’ve risked it all, holding nothing back,
  his greeting will not offend

If you exceeded your limitations, you are finally no
  longer constrained

If you’ve given back more than you hoped to receive,
—the wind whispers forever your name

Road Trip

My ROAD TRIP this weekend is much needed
My threshold for patience has been exceeded!
Staring at 4 walls at home alone is the worst!
I need a getaway or my brain will burst!
The love of my life was always there when I needed
Now that she’s in heaven I’m seriously impeded
I’m so glad poetry is my venting outlet
Otherwise I might often break out in a cold sweat!

His Blood

------

The blood to the Cross
Has long since been lost
Fore the courage of Jesus
Far exceeded the cost
      ------
We should kneel
Thusly, we should
    Surely pray
       -For-
The blood of Jesus
       Has carried yet,
         -Another day
      ------
Where ever there
    Is a call to Jesus
Their shall be love
And sacrifice along the way
A tribute to us all

The Lost Trooper

He rode the endless desert
As the days ran together in it

At first it was what he needed
But being alone finally exceeded

What he felt being the only law
In the Australian desert cut to the craw

He visited the homesteads occasionally
And saw Aborigines living their life free

But one day when the heat was unbearable
Life untenable he hung himself from a tree.

Sickle Cell Bulimia

I was in a hurry
To weight only forty
Had no time for a drawn
out diet
So decided I would try it
Bought a sickle
Carved off my flesh
It didn't tickle,
But the blood was fresh

Got on the scale,
With my dying breath
Couldn't read the weight
Too much blood
And it was now too late

I probably weighted but twenty
A skeleton was I
Exceeded my desired weight loss
But for this I had to die.

Addiction

I have an addiction
Refused it at first
Rage exceeded
Wanted, needed, anxious
I have an addiction
Broken before
Yet again
Irresistible, uncontrollable, required
I have an addiction
Habit now
Obsessing everyday, dependency
Compulsion turns to lust
Desires weaken me
Appetite becomes insanity
Absorbing into my body
Intense, extreme, comfortable
Finally, realizing it is true
I have an addiction
I am addicted to…

Walking Shoes

You better put on your walking shoes
I've had about enough of you,
those words you say when your anger rages
pushes me to reach my final stages
and all the years of your abuse
 beg me to set you free and loose;
so grab your coat, your shoes, your pants
your time has exceeded this circumstance
when I took it in and excused your faults
but this is it, the final somersault,
put on your walking shoes
your turn to carry the blues.

red hot sun

the sun’s temperature exceeded the absoluteness of herself
every day this week had been one hundred and six or higher
I saw the sun now as oranges and reds, no longer innocent yellow
What is she doing to us? I wondered, will we perish?
Will it be our own fault? Because of what we have done to the ozone layers?
Too sticky and humid to think, the worst uncomfortably hot.
Her orange eyes bored through the guilt of my soul.
I was not innocent in this.

Trump Lunatic For President

Trump A Lunatic for President

Like dog should try to learn new trick;
Don't eat food that will make you sick;
Listen to latest poll;
Eat from clean bowl.
Never pick lunatic for next President.

Here are all of the keys to success
that I know of regarding selecting
a new President.
