The Troubles We Face

Violence escalates due to crimes
and conflicts taking place today.
Aside from this, diseases
and world's calamities
cause many people
to lose courage,
mind's focus,
and heart
too.

Low battery

In the wee hours of the morn
She was torn between two pillows;
  Pure ecstasy escalates;
 A blinking Indicator become
A disruptive behavior: suddenly
 A dishonorable discharge

 ouch! sorry low battery.

I live my life
In the light,
And the land
In which I live
Does not give
Itself to pain.

NO,
That is only the dream!

Midnight clouds
Conquer the stars,
And rain escalates
Into muddy rage.

The secret
Of the streets
Is revealed
In a blue born
On the canvas
Of care.

Old Man Winter {choka}

winters foliage
blankets trees and grassy knolls
water runs amidst

towering white pines
standing in complete solace
above canyon ridge

melting ice pellets
pumps from bleeding hearts vineyard
sowing escalates

So Glad Winter Is Over LOL

Heart's Speech

Two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle
Is how our hearts fit
Bind together covalently
Compressional forces acting on us

A look at your eyes causes a flare within
Your voice coruscates the whole of me
As a word from that mouth escalates my pulse
Reincarnation is real, Shakespeare wrote about us

Your body is resplendent
Still gets me mesmerized
Astounded till now, how I ended up with you
You are one of a kind

The full moon escalates the fears of the night Leaving shadows from the tall frightening trees Branches reaching out to the tombstones of fright Fear envelopes by what people sure believes The bats scare, ravens bring fear, and moon heightens Everything in sight the moon laughs and brightens As the night cools things down, the moon warms it up Darkness never fully wins the nighttime cup

World abandonment
vanity infests
greed escalates
charity nullified

Competitive paradise
prices uncontrollable
hunger staggering
debt maximized

Honest lost
integrity futile
words misconstrued
greed rapid

Equality vanished
pensions minute
labor intensified
 jobs down sized

World absorbed
humans consumed
profits soar
mortgages abandoned

World immobilized
composure lost
hope desperate
destruction eminent.

Watching JJ Play with Dinosaurs
David J Walker

The flying reptiles frighten me
What if they come back
	What if they attack
What if a stolen egg escalates
	Into another annihilation

The plying reptiles fascinate me
What if feathers are lost
What if we ignore the cost
And act in fits of passion

What if their leathered skin
Becomes stylish
	Again

What if we killed them all
	For fall
                  fashion

One Word

Sound of the clock escalates louder,
The fly is becoming my main interest.
Lost and loaded, no trace of powder,
Anxiety wreck I detest.

Memories flaunt in my head,
The wings flap a bit harder.
Ticking progresses and hits dead,
frozen to be slaughtered.

Eyes don't hesitate to not blink,
Images are blurred.
Don't bother to think,
All this from one word.

Soliloquy moment that questions my sane,
Smiling to realize that words your name.

Love Is Pain

cyst
of time
splintered night
in silent ache.
dim light of side lamp
glistened halo of moon
in some other universe,
where I long to hold you captive
in my own immortal galaxy.
drape my darkness in your radiant sun
hypnotized within your constellation,
blessed by Venus in her silver light
where I know you're mine forever.
hold me or I'll float away...
vestige of your kisses
escalates passion.
story sinks in
ashen skies.
Is love
pain?
