An angel wrote with a golden pen in the marble book of fate.
The ink she used were the tears of men;
The words she wrote: Too late!

Beware, take care
I'm wary,
Disturbed,
Upset
And perturbed

I'm in a plight,
Nothing feels right,
Grey skies ahead
Too many dead.

Poetry Is Our Inspiration In Life

Poetry is a muse
           that we seek
to relish and suffer with her
           the purest
           epilogue
            of life...

Premium Member THANKFUL FOR DOGS

'Today I’m once again thankful for dogs
for wouldn’t our world have a more blessed beginning
a more blessed middle
and a much more blessed epilogue…
If we all learned to love each other
as unconditionally as a dog.

Epilogue

You hurt me deeply by your silence,
once my sweetheart, now a ghost;
we'll never be together, it's a shame,
just when I loved you most.
Reasons, excuses are useless right now,
I'll cut my losses and leave with a bow.

I'd love you
forever

Velvet Coffin: An Epilogue

mirror on the wall reflects my pain
it is a witness of my harsh reality
the pain i romanticized about someone
is a fake reflected image of my thoughts
the pain i never wished to tear my flesh
is the real persona i try to hide

~truth Or Lies (Epilogue)~

My truth is false,
a glittering overcoat with torn lining,
always catching on good intentions
and jamais vu,

but persona persists
anealed to the base elements
of slipping into a round hole
without scoring.

Time to be fashionable again.

Solid gray clouds hover right here
Hidden by the thick fog
Quiet interrupted by birds
Who sing love's epilogue

Solemn day held by clouds caress
Clouds that drape each green tree
Like a shawl on a winter's day
And gives grass a sweet kiss

All Hallow's Eve Epilogue

You say this little book of verse
Is stranger that the rest you’ve seen?
Remember—nothing’s ever worse
Than being born on Hallowe’en.

A poet’s birthday shouldn’t be
A holiday to raise the dead,
And yet my anniversary
Is when the greedy ghouls are fed.

A Wonderful Show - Andaree

I am in the middle of the monologue
The show is seldom a dialogue
What an astute star laying it low
Such talent with flow.
Wow, Superb
Show
Don’t disturb
The one class so slow
As my learning cannot grow
Thanks to the lecturer’s epilogue.
I am in the middle of the monologue.

Whether you're half full or half empty,
When you're upside-down like Humpty-Dumpty,
No matter how you spin it,
Your glass has nothing in it.

Epilogue

If you're shattered when you begin,
You won't be made whole again -
That is, unless you take a look
At my low-cost poetry book.

Epilogue

with crumbs
some still
in my beard
i thought
what honey
is this sweet

i didn't panic
because i
always buy
organic but
the fresh
bread wasn't

enough
to turn
my head
instead
lable
looking

i saw to my
awe but not
disbelief that
the honey was
USA grade A
but a product

An Unflashy Ending

Common finish full of flashes,
Reorganized thought meaningful pictures;
Sounds coarse but soothing,
The epilogue is only for you to think.

Ah, how good will it be,
Finishing line that I will see;
At the end of my last beat,
Alas, let me have a seat,
Into my own, unflashy ending.

Epilogue

I know the ending,
But I read it anyway.
I’ll pull the blanket tight around me
As laughter fades to death,
And there are screams,
And tears
that might even be real.

We can rewrite history:
Mold it and tug at it,
Rip it apart and make it beautiful
And digestible.

But there is only truth—
the end.

Epilogue To Summer Storm

Mercurial splendor; earth, sky the
props
Sunlight glints through
effervescent drops
Fluorescent beams glisten through
glowing treetops
O'er grassy plain, steel girder slides
and hops
Colorful symphony earth's
footstool for heaven's grandeur
swaps
An arcing prism of neon across the
horizon crops

Home

Floating under the surface,
stones weighting her body,
gremlins and goblins
were hobbling her soul;
she's full to o'erflowing,
her faculties failing,
she swam with the fishes
and found her way home.

I Sent The Text: An Epilogue

messages sent and unsent
confessions told and untold
heartbroken- and hearts we both broke

your memories linger around like a ghost
I still see your shadows at my door
scores settled and unsettled, you don't matter anymore

pierce through my heart or stab my back
the tattoos have already been scrubbed off
now you don't beat my drums anymore
