Tinas Tonic

Enticingly juicy
Melting on the burning
Lips of passion
Stretching tongues to lick
But soured drops long left over
Icings of deadly venoms
Ooh greedy zealots
Gulping to stupor
Concoctions for all such gluttons

Indian Giver

Caresses on his back made him quiver.
Enticingly, she said, “Love, come hither.”
Warm fingers rubbed his spine.
Her kisses felt so fine.
An Indian princess was his giver.

She likes flowers. She likes galleries and art. She likes bookstores and museums, and walks in the park. She’s enticingly odd, her countenance unflawed, I’m ooohed and I’m awed. I gotta tell ya – she is one cool broad.

Awakening

While suspended above reality

This choice I had to make

A few more seconds in slumber

So reluctant I was to awake

I settled for cocooned bliss

To content to be concerned

Oblivion beckoned enticingly

My life was thus adjourned.

Bathing Suit

The facebook ad popped up
 nothing fancy, seasonal stuff
and there it was a bathing suit
 it looked so enticingly cute.
I pondered me within its wrappings
envisioned how my body in its trapping,
protrusions of my bosom and my rump
alas, I'm an apple, round and plump.

~Mon Amour~

             I adore my lover!
             So enticingly, bubbly,
             A spiritual heart!
             A philosophical Greek.
When he dances, the stars sing.

You Are

YOU ARE the epitome of intrigue. An addiction for my needs. A puzzle of perplexing shades. Unique enticingly brief. I love you. Hate that you frustrate me. Find my Achilles. Both my nemesis my disease. Still… you ease the fatigue of mortality © Kim van Breda—28 June 2015

Premium Member I Am a Chameleon

I am an old porch
Leaning in on a bent back
Weathered and rotting

Aha! Something enticingly fun
comes into view
turning me into my butterfly self.

Orange and dotted,
flitting among the lilacs,
diving in for a taste,
enjoying life once again.

I am distracted by a worm
Instantly irritated and mad,
turning into a mud puddle.

White Jasmine

White Jasmine
pure white soft jasmine
birth of a new tender love
thorns silently sleep

behold this glory
that enticingly lures
some fun loving bee
tasting delicious nectar
green danger cunningly lurks

true love never had a chance
green thorns blew their prickly horns
old black shadows danced along
white jasmine turned red

Wastwater's Enchantment

Beneath the cobalt veil nothing blows.
Lying vast but still, a cloth of silken black.
Only an amiable ripple articulates its presence.

Imposing contours loom purposely
Declaring their magnificence
And my insignificance.

Illuminations pin pricked into the veil above.
More than you could count
Even with a lifetime given.

A Prince of unquestionable pedigree.
Enticingly fragile.
Dauntingly resolute.

A Note In the Wind

l saw a note in the wind
caught up in the fencing
could it possibly be...?
was it what I was sensing?

determined to have it
I gazed up admiringly
it was out of my reach
fluttering enticingly

I spied a big number too!
I was feeling quite heady
my mind was in overdrive
I had spent it already

so it pains me to say
I was terribly mistaken
instead of cash I retrieved
a parking citation

The Pit

So what is love?
A kiss, a touch, a state of mind;
A fickle glance, a poet’s line.
An unending pit of shame
Into which sordid passions rain.
A “forever” love I’ll never claim.

But wait…
Who comes and passes by?
He stops and looks back, enticingly shy.
He beckons, I follow~~~
Watch out! The Pit!!
Too late…

I
    fall
           to
                 meet
                             the
                                     bottom.

Heat

Her songs come and make love to me
each note stroked so enticingly
they twist and they twirl
engulfing her pearl
I reside deep in Calliope

Entwined we are starved by the night
two souls that are holding on tight
'low passionate skies
entranced by her eyes
I make her my lunar delight

Tongue tips and teeth that desire
true love that's burning on fire
stare down our sure death
both gasping for breath
this heat can't get much higher

Summer has past through
its hot sultry days of sun
Now slowly the leaves turn
glistening in hues of brown.

The air sharpens and cools
as the nights draw in faster.
Grains glimmer ready now
for plucking from their ears.

Rich scents of sun ripened fruit
hangs in the still air enticingly.
The smells of lunch mingling
to the heavily scented bouquet.

Icy fingers of winter awake
impatient to do their worst.
Soon the lands will lie
under a blanket of snow.

Limitless Love

As she walked thru limitless pain
Her body contorted and old
She ached for his divine grace
And freedom from binding chains
Her soul clearly broken
Into tiny glittering points
And dark night enticingly beckoned
To pass into limitless sky
And as day blurred into dusk
Her soul took its flight
Among the burning starry way
She at last found what she lacked
A limitless ocean of love and peace
That He held in his arms
