A drive into the city
Reminds me of my morbidity --
Traffic zipping every which way
Makes for a most stressful day

If I see that dog again, I fear,
with goop exuding from his ear -
if that ad again shows up,
I swear I will throw up,
but I'll never buy Ear Clear.

Enough Already

It was the sixth wedding for daughter Judy
who was quite plain and hardly a beauty.
Time came to give away the bride
whereupon her Father replied
"five times I've tried--I've done my duty."

Come what may I’ll rue the day If Trump should reign What have we to gain? This self-serving twit Is never legit And I for one Wish he were done!

The Widow

She trusted this source

He hated her even more

playing games, calling of names

enough already

she lifts her spirits

she gathers her thoughts

another journey fought

another life, a newer view

as he vanishes after midnight.

If I turn on the TV news, they’re talking about Trump
If I go to my computer, umpteen pictures of the Dumpf
If I go to a party everyone’s talking about the Donald
I am sick and tired of being Donald Trump pummeled!

It's not the colour of your skin
It's the passion that resides within
Those of us who have a brain
Don't want these problems to remain
We need to try our very best
To put the distant past to rest
Marching forward together in peace
Helping all our problems to decrease

Enough Already Miracle Man 2/4/2022 I make no attempt in hiding how I feel, *I have just watched my umpteenth Medicare speel. Thanks to old actors, jocks, and assorted jerks, our mute button's broken and no longer works. * Since the start of the year. LOL

Tis said we can have:
“too much of a good thing.”

Which prompts the question:
“How much is too much?”

Sadly, too much
Is often “too little, too late”

As it is the result of
“too much, too soon”

Because “too much is never enough”
when “enough is not enough”

‘nuff said.

Speak not ill of competition,
Tell not happily of his sin.
Inform me of your position.
I then can vote the best to win.

When I listen to your ranting.
It pains me so, grosses me out.
Find your lies so disenchanting,
They are no truer when you shout.

November will be too soon here
You are still in a leaky boat.
Both of you now have made it clear
Neither of you are worth my vote!

Warm Days Are Ahead

Warm days are ahead but not soon enough, cold days still linger Winter has been so rough. Warm sunny skies are just beyond my reach, but Winter wants to hang on just like a tormenting leech. I truly can not wait for Spring to finally show, but first things first we have to get rid of this snow. Copyright © Cynthia Jones Mar.13/2015 I'm getting bummed out by Winter. Enough is enough already!!!

This winter will go down in history As one of the coldest snowiest winters on record We have literally mountains of snow piled up everywhere Because there is no longer any place to put it Quite a sight really if you like that kind of stuff Personally I've had more than enough of snow and winter To last me a lifetime... 4 to 8 inches predicted in the next 24 hours! Enough already!!! © Jack Ellison 2014

When Did You Start To Hate Me So

When did you start to hate me so?
When you crushed my heart and thought that was ok.
I don’t know what to say.
That’s alright. You've said nothing enough already.
Is there anything I can do?
No. You’ve done nothing long enough.

You’re hurting me.
You hurt me.
I’m Sorry.
So am I.
Please.

When did you start to hate me so?
When you crushed my heart and still called me your best friend...
