Majestic temples but nobody cares,
Preaching martyrs on past glories,
Brainwashed children from embellished stories,
Darkness like a sheet,
Embellished with sparkling lights,
Covers the night sky,
The moon sits on this covering,
A lamp to the destitute.

Tranquil
Starry sky
Embellished sheet
Nature buoys the mind
The eyes see through the veil
They journey on its highway
There's a sojourn through the meadow
Light permeates the gloomy chamber
The missing pieces sit on the table

Floating in the amorous sequined stellar sky
in mystique bejeweled night you came enticed
in my embellished dream where for you
I made a sparkling bracelet of stars.
The euphoric gems felt your heart’s rhythm
in cadenced galactic concerto of my passion.
Bibs on babies are funny because they look like Ginsberg lace.
If they are embellished, and they are dainty for Ruthie or Grace.
When plastic they might be tidy, but they might break out baby’s neck.
By the sixth child, they no longer wear bibs. You say what the heck.
