That having climbed to the top of the spire
For he had seen the way to climb up
The challenge was to climb down
But the way to climb down

sleep eluded for such a long time
I guess I was tired of what life handed down
never content, never assured
of what my future held
now I surrender and dream sweet dreams

I-s shining in the sky;
Z-enith has met him, as the rain passes by.
V-ile weather Wednesday
E-vades the Thursday morn;
N-ight chill has eluded
T-he day you were born.
U-nderneath the blue lane,
R-ed beacon brings much mirth;
A-llow him to bathe your heart, your soul and life on earth.
I have finally reached that place
that eluded me in the past
I have climbed the mountains
fought my demons
released what wasn't
for all that now is
as you take my hand
walking with me side by side
beauty and grace shine down from above
serenity and love abound
in this place we walk...
this beautiful side of someday
