Green In the Sky

watercolored charm
formed by the art of magic
a painted rainbow

drenching eluded
yet a hued dream seemed so near
radiant pastels

wide bands of color
in never before seen shades
most notably green

a chance encounter
a lucky rare day of life
with the sweet close up

Thank you, Andrea. The poem describes an actual experience. I was in and out of several stores on a stormy day, and I didn't get wet. Once inside a store, the rain would come. By the time I'd leave the store, the rain always had stopped. Then when I was almost home, out came the sun, and that magnificent rainbow, which had me spellbound. What a lovely day I had! :D
