My Own
When I was young,
my edges raw,
my feelings open,
my thoughts my own

Now that I’m old,
those edges scarred,
those feelings transient
—those thoughts my own

Premium Member The Tinder Swindler Is a Spindler
The so called Tinder Swindler is a Coward
He is a Joke
One Netflix documentary and the pathetic little man
Vanished in a puff of smoke
An imaginative guy whose games are over now
Plastic surgery may transform that face
But the evil that resides in those eyes and soul can never be replaced!...

Premium Member I'M Fine--Really
Have I ever told you that I have boisterous brawls with
myself over what type of tv show to watch—Greek myth,
nature, comedy, murder mystery, Covid documentary,
or science? We can never agree. So I end up writing poetry
about how this isolation is good for us—I mean ME!

Premium Member Documentary Ii
I step inside Walmart with no pep
today is silent with hardly any talk
there waiting for me to put in cent’s
surprised, yeah
one shouts not a penny
a penny I will give them
for waste of wait time and effort
not a new shiny one
but a old dirty one
he’s heading home
tomorrow we know he won’t be out
complete dirty work over-sleep
take naps while we trade off
no worries tomorrow we’ll take you
then bind you...

Premium Member The migration of birds
Samantha, my cat, put on her glasses
and sat by the tv today..
Besides being cute she's very astute
at keeping winter blues at bay..
When she can't find her pen, she'll
turn on CNN and see what their
commentators say,
but it's really not her turf so other
channels she'd surf, until she saw some thing okay..
Samantha found the Migration of Birds and if a cat
could speak words, "that documentary was awesome" she'd say....

Too Much Is Plenty
Documentary on The War *
More and more and more!
America the Great.
Nam to Watergate,
With plenty more in store.

Don't know if I'm pessimistic
or just a shade realistic.
Politicians lie.
Easy sales. We buy!
Perhaps a bit simplistic.

It was "way back then."
Sam took it on the chin.
I'll watch it all.
I did my call,
But I wouldn't do it again

Real Life Repeats
Down in the dumps
Ducks drop in dams
Design the due in daily dots
Documentary life dreamt as a slept dog.

Do or die
Doesn't go down
Deplete or defunct
Dim fights betrayal in doo-wop
Dancing daily in dams
Daily bread, daily living.

Right as rain
Remembering the rainfall drops
Real green relaxes under the rules
The rule of evidenced remedies
The ribs remember the rigs
Ro-setta stone coins
Real life repeats.
