Bleep

I was really down on my luck,
looked in the mirror - about to chuck,
things seemed at their dimmest,
good luck - at its slimmest...
Sometimes, just gotta say "What the _____!"

Hard-Headed Heart

The heart has this hard-headed habit
of hoping against the dimmest hope,
of hearing but not heeding
the head.

Though routinely it gets gravely hurt,
it is healed by time, enabled to cope,
unafraid once again to get
wounded!

Eternal Affair

In the darkest places,
There’s the dimmest light
That shines with the intensity of your eyes.
Once I begin to stare,
You slowly become my eternal affair.
And way down under,
Where a beat can never be heard,
Is were my soul will forever meet
Your silent, yet subtle…affair

Witless

Their clueless inane fangs of reed
Strive to bite what's made of steel;
Deriding the stronger sinew of virtue
They cling onto feeble foibles untrue.

To headache more reasonable head
Is the very principal aim they're bred...
These pithy bothersome numbskulls
Coined with dimmest grasp that lulls.

The Sixth Star

The Chinese flag boasts five stars
the smaller ones represent the four classes of people
which cower in the shadow of the larger one(communism)
    In our grandchildren's lifetime
a sixth star will be stitched into the crimson fabric
It will be the dimmest star, by far, in the communist constellation
representing the people of every other nation,
I pray that I'm gone before then.

What Went Wrong

When submerged in sorrow's sea,
Why reject a helping hand?
A broken sparrow, fragile be,
Alone, you cannot stand.

Somewhere along the winding way,
In the darkest night, the dimmest day,
A realization softly spoke,
In solitude, the heart awoke.

To weep alone, a sign of might,
Yet sharing tears feels not quite right.
To show that weakness, to confess,
Is to reveal I'm powerless.

That One Feeling

As I wander along the dimmest of dimensions
I understand every thing is not created to to be understood
But stood in within distance
Emerge, then purge
All things wicked
Vicious attempts
Meant to condemn us
Deliver the pent up
Frustration circulating
Damnation
Revolving all the causing agents
All the while searching in desperation
For restoration
Caused by evolution
I Conduced this
Proven
Theory
Eerie and elusive

From the Edge...Young Poets In Pain

In their dark and sunless

caverns,

in their rooms

so all alone,

Help them light

the dimmest lanterns

let them know

a friend is home.

You were young

and you remember

how it was

when all was lost,

they don't know that

by December

many rivers

will be crossed

They don't have a map

to guide them

there's no compass

for their track

we must hold them

and confide them

till they find

a pathway

  back..

True Love

True love is like an ambering blaze of light
that shines so bright even if the cloud is rough;
In rainy days it shines so clear and so bright
to bring the hearts a tasteful of smile and laugh;
Its radiance sways even the dimmest light
to believe in miracles when times are tough;
For faithful love can withstand all tests of time;
True lovers are poems that forever rhyme.
