In WW2 Sweden sheltered
Jews in desperate need
Today Swedes burn a Torah scroll
a brutish, dastardly deed
the poet
will never admit
that he or she is
desperate
so the next step
is to create
something
the poet locks in.
The cry of death echoes cold,
Following a desperate night, dawn weighs heavy,
Hold the cool Moonlight until freedom sails,
An artist in Pennsylvania
Was desperate to entertain yer
He would draw and draw
More and more
A clear case of pencil mania
Sirens break the night
Shatter the silence apart
Rhythmic, melodic
My heart tears gently open
Please will you take me with you
The liar puts on their mask to conceal
Truth that has been kept hidden
From a desperate world.

Taken into care
A desperate tale of despair
Both on social and an emotional levels
Never the twain
So much for family
So desperate for attention
He foments vote-count dissension
Every day a new twist or turn
Nero fiddles, while Rome burns
The moon's tears of joy
Fell into desperate sea
Sparkling Diamonds!

Soul of shattered glass
Encased in numb, icy form.
Desperate moments.

Bubbling
Cool, refreshing
Water, giver of life
In this desperate, cracked, thirsty
Parched land
It's hard;
living in a
world where
your voice
is so desperate
to be heard.
But when there's
a chance, the
ocean chokes
it up.
And if they searched your backyard
How many ghosts theyd find
Desperate, cold and lonely souls
How many hearts like mine.
All the girls say he is a menace
So desperate for love was Dennis
A psychic's ball
Revealed it all
He could find true Love playing tennis
My daughter’s last breath
my first poem, “Stay,” was born—
a sad mother’s grief,
desperate for a reason
to stay for another day.
Finger on the trigger
Death toll getting bigger
Desperate action required with vigor
What’s happening in our world….Go figure!
As the phantom consumes
the chaos from my soul
desperate hands
pull me to the grave,
i lay there numb and cold
the earth now has my bones
Boy meets girl,
Girl meets boy.
Friendship begins to grow.
quick spread rumors
Of dates and lunches
Abound without ceasing
life is great.
Aching to be felt, aching to be seen.
Desperate for love, is it even real?
Its something out of a nightmare,
Similar to a dream.
Every week hearts come in.
Desperate. I can't refuse their mending jobs.
I'll do what I can.

The desperate witch took her last breath over an empty grave

Sound
Thud
Falls on deaf ears
Blood rushing through my veins
An evil and desperate hiss in my ears
I can't listen to you
For I hear nothing else
She came
Filled our hearts and souls
She left ….leaving us feeling empty
In desperate need of one of her “Cuggles” to fill that empty hole!
