Today’s anniversary marks twenty four years,
of the Nine-Eleven Attack that was given to fears.
As a bell denotes the dead,
each name will be read.
On a day in history that was awash with tears.
Another Sunday morning
denotes another wasted week
waiting for a chance to see
the happiness I seek.
As time ticks by I try to grasp
my life before its gone.

Aftermath
Living through the deprivation
of the silence and solitude
of former injuries afflicted,
we come to a new conception of scars in battle,
they serve a purpose, reminding us that
we may have suffered from the wounding,
but their presence denotes a well fought fight,
and a strengthening of spirit.

C-ollision of truth and lie
H-as made the slave free;
E-arly twenty-eighth of September, God's wisdom denotes verity.
A-s the false and correct collide,
R-ighteousness prevails;
A-n evil deed is beaten,
N-egative or wrong faith fails.
I-t's a clash of good and bad, it's a conflict neath the sky;
L-et the light brightly shine in the collision of truth and lie.
Oh Orang! Oh Utang!
I came from far to meet and greet you,
The man of old jungle, the name reveals you,
A cute creature human-like denotes,
Through gestures, funny looks
And innocent waving that make you laugh,
If you know how to approach and pat him,

The dead remember everything
The living have forgotten
Except in dreams of kings and queens
And lost marines who joined as teens
To help and keep our honor clean
From those who plot and make up schemes
Because they think they are supreme
While truth denotes they’re just extreme
And wish to tear to smithereens
Our children’s, children’s hopes and dreams
