Please Understand
I am a person. I am not a paper.
I have a name. I am not a number.
I have a face. I am not a picture.
I have a life. I am not your fixture.
I have a voice. I am not your notes.
I have a future, not like my past denotes.
I am an individual. I am not a statistic.
I have goals that are realistic.
I have strengths, not only weakness.
I will not be silent. Will you have openness?
When I get frustrated, please understand,
I want to be asked, not given a command.
