Pink fancy soap often left an unused scent sensation,
More or less aesthetic used only as a pink decoration
Upon the left back corner of the vanity mirror and sink.

POOR CHRISTMAS' DAY

       In the humble, sad dwelling,
    last year's Christmas decorations
     still permanent, the same ornaments...
        signs and clues of poverty...

The lowest branches get lights,
decoration,
adulation,
attention.

Upper reaches sway, snap in the dark,
break and turn loose their leaves.

But never receive a mention.

Premium Member A Bouquet of Roses

Roses red, white, yellow
Look so pretty put together
With some water in a vase
Making a pretty bouquet
For a dining -room table
Or outside decoration-on
        the patio table

Tattoo

I am a decoration
My skin preserves my past
Its meaning is well-written
Its value, deep and vast

Many read my stories
And many fail to see
My body art is beauty
My beauty becomes me

Girly Stones

These pink glassy stones
Don't have any uses
If I run out of reasons
I'll make up excuses
They wallow in bowls
for pure decoration
and hated by every
man in the nation.

To my Literary Eagle

Oh, Raven of the Ravens!
A noble intellectual high soul!
Your portrait, your life, your mind
is the decoration of my room!

Thank you for your teaching!
With forever love,
I love you

The Decoration

The water-pool was
thickly covered with
roses;
a decoration for the
marriage.
The fishes in the pool
died after some time
due to suffocation.

Some days later the
roses rotted.

Long live the
newly-weds!

On the last Monday in May,
once called “Decoration Day,”
flags will fly half-mast till noon,
then at full till dusk. The tune
“Taps” will play and stir our pride.
Honor is due those who died
keeping freedom’s foes at bay.

Smorgasbord of De-Light

Lights on the roof, in every tree.
Candy canes line the walk, come see,
old garnishments, many a kind;
can't leave any blow-up behind.

What Name Do You Give To This Beauty

What name should I give to a beauty?
Can you reward me on this?
Let this dear your face,
what should I tell now see.
My god is also included in this decoration of yours.
I would like to express his favor and give me the heart immature.

Gifted decoration

Bestow innocence, And sincerity- unto me. Explode my heart, once more and again. Saturate me; With ache- and farce. Give charm, on everyone And also glee; Reward innocence- and sincerity unto me.

Free From Secrets

Just because my sparkle doesn’t always catch your eye-

Does not mean I should have to sit in the background.

Like a decoration.

So that I am allowed to be ignored.

I hope that someday I can stop being condemned-

And my secrets can be exposed and cherished.

First of September

First of September

It is oppressively hot it as summer
refuses to leave the stage and is overacting badly,
to be a walk-on actor or a decoration in play
about summer, it is jarring.
We applaud, but we are tired of the monologue now
It is a time for the lesser actors

Premium Member First Decoration of the Season

The beautiful wreath hangs upon the door,

Upon the door to greet all.

All who see it will have to smile,

  Smile as they recall.

Recall how festive the season will be,

Will be for one and all.

All it took was a wreath on a door,

A wreath on a door in the hall.

Give me a string
I will tie it into a decoration

Give me some imaginations

Forest Love

FOREST LOVE

As a melody felt in its first notes,
I caught the perfume of her soul pouring
Through the lacework of snow-covered branches.
The beats of my heart played a measure
Among the tapestry of the gods -
Spirit freeing semibreves
In the arms of white decoration.

Premium Member Christmas Decoration

Forgive me sweet, Jesus, for
Spending so much time decorating
The Christmas tree and the streets
Of my town

But

Neglecting my soul to adorn with
The words of Thy message: To care,
To love and to help those in need,
This Christmas!

Mixed Metaphors

MIXED METAPHORS

It was my surprise - decoration of her hallway
But someone told her
Let the cat out of the dog
And the wallpaper and paint mixture was
Dead as a dado
But if I find the scoundrel who told
He’ll be in a hearse of a different color
