Persuader inside me
dark sweetness cajoling
A talisman dangles
—the present foretold

Tears on pillow
Daze dangles dreams;
Sad sultry face

A pine branch dangles
over a heap of leaves that
had fallen in Fall;
every morning, sunlight rays
reach down to kiss the cold snow.
I wear an ID badge for my group.
It dangles down from my belt loop.
I have anonymity
When I stand up to pee
But it gives me away when I poop.
Though not in his nature to beg
He would flip for a sip from the keg
Of the rum or the brandy
That dangles so handy
His lips near the tips of the peg
Hanging from the crane
is the end-all,
the pitied and plain
inheritor of pain.
It drifts and dangles
in the weak breeze.
You can't turn the pages.
Accept this and die.
Above beautiful clouds, dangles equivalent famous Gemini, highlighting immortal joy. Knotted lights motions nuclear oomph, permeating quasars romantic shine, tactically, until Venus whispers: x-rated yet zealous!
Dick the dog dangles his balls for all to see.
I greet him on the way.
"How they hanging Dick?"
The question is rhetorical.
"Bark once if I smell immortal."
Dick pisses on my leg
while his owner speaks of Keats.

Jeremiah feels the heat forthrightly
His donations lower more than slightly
While the plate is passing
Seems surely it’s fasting
As it stops and dangles politely

Dead grass,
smudged windows,
abandoned,
a toy truck
glints a splash of red
in the dry yellow yard.
A rust covered bell
dangles a cotton string,
black from grubby hands.
Silvery ghost child
laughter floats in the still air.
Dance fond dazzle
In wild crackle
Trance due tangle
In blur bundle
Chance deep tangle
With wild wrestle
Meet fine tickle
Where zest tickles
Be not fickle
Where joy dangles

Gauze arms prance
between the limbs,
a mourning pines
when cloudline dims.
A tangled wood
that dangles loose,
silence screams
this delicate noose.
Devilry unravels
and moon has bled
king of puppet
cuts off life's thread.

Cornered in the corner of my eye a rainbow squares up its pastel
brushes gently against lightning encrypted in a cornea battered
dangles iridescent prisms of hope condensed on retinal shadows
and works its kind dreams into the eye of the grateful beholder
A black cloud dangles
Effortlessly forms
A haunting image
Showers travel east
Daisy hides her face.
A Robin sings
A melody
The sun appears
Once more she smiles.
Grass uncoils
Raindrops dry
Web retracts.
Sunset
Moon beam.
Stars.

Etched emotions carved
upon wood stained slats
channels of putrid odors
behind polyurethaned glass
its stench guised by colorful hues
a dark laminated soul
dangles from a plastered wall
framed within a once proud tree
where emptiness once stood
now hangs my sanity.......
Oh boy, what a fun game;
it spins and spins and in-between,
it dangles.
Stretching throughout the whole house;
feather light easy to carry;
not so easy to hide, though.
It enjoys getting cats into trouble;
irresistible this toy;
the toilet paper game.

Desmond desires to dive into devout Desiree’s dreams
She dispenses delicious divinity yet destiny dangles defeat
Deep in deluge he discovers dazzling demons and devils
When diabolical deceit dawns in desolate desperation
Des descries in despair and decides to die from devotion
The words that I speak,
Spoke,
And wrote,
Are the words that,
peep,
Creep,
And poke,
The emotions that,
Drip,
Seep,
Soke,
Into a damage heart,
That dangles on a tearing rope,
So I must cope,
Adapt,
And mope,
Around,
Since my new home is not the skies,
But the ground,
In a world that every heart,
Is broken down.
Chet grabbed my story and claimed it as his own.
Tacking on a slightly different ending.
I kept my mouth shut about this.
War has obliterated his own stories.
PTSD dangles him in a state of web-like anxiety.
If claiming my stories makes him happy, then great.
I am glad to be of service to this Vietnam War vet.
Mad moods mingle,
Align apt aim;
Dream daze dangles.
Move messy maime,
Oblige odd oomph;
Observe oil ooze,
Don dazzling doom;
Succumb sense snooze.
Mind misty moves,
Ink ires ingest;
Nice naughty noose,
Gain grumpy guess;
Laugh late leap-year,
Echo each ear!

The hand hears
The hand happens to hide
The hand hesitates
Look the hand has eyes
The hand helps
The hand holds
The hand walks has fingers for toes
The hand handles
The hand hangs as it dangles
Who has dealt the hand,
and what are the hands plans

I prefer to receive my own
Purchased by the clinking of keys and a
Blister forming on the thumb.
I prefer to find my own
Among the twisted branches and bleeding berries.
The coat with the mended sleeve dangles by my head
as we find the sleeping bears above us.
He laughs as his becomes a possum
And mine a mountain top.
Curious cheer
Dangles dear
Chaos crafts
Dizzy draft
Spacious smile
Sensuous style
Dreamy drift
Spicy sift
Wonder wakes
Telling takes
Pleasant poise
Vibrant voice
Lovely lines
Feeling fine
Buzzy best
Flaming fest
Misty mimes
Tasty times

My love is on a rope
A string from my heart
That dangles around my neck
A noose of love
That when pulled too tight
Strangles my trust
Walked like a tightrope
I tiptoe around your lust
A balancing act
From above
If I fall there’s
No net or glove
So I light myself on fire
And walk out on the wire
Waiting to see
If you truly love me
